Good luck getting Chris Wray to do anything decent and right. He's pure deep state hack, compromised and corrupted in every way. If this guy had kiddie porn on his laptop Wray would have the laptop accidentally destroyed and threaten anyone who saw it with life in prison if they said a word.
Expect stonewalling or a 24 hour delay after which the FBI issues a statement that after a thorough investigation they found no evidence of any merit to the accusations. Then the GOP can happily join the dems and approve this "vindicated" crook.
