MSNBC Regular Frightened That 'Ignorant' Chauvin Jury Could Fail to Convict

On Tiffany Cross's weekend MSNBC show, MSNBC regular Elie Mystal -- "justice correspondent" for The Nation -- apparently believes that former policeman Derek Chauvin's jury should be composed of people...who had already decided to convict him!

He decried the "ignorance" of the Chauvin jury, saying it was chosen by people who either had not seen the video of the arrest of George Floyd, or maybe "saw the video and couldn’t decide if sometimes, maybe black people do need to be choked to death."

Mystal also claimed that the three police officers on the scene of the Floyd arrest in addition to Chauvin were "white." Ya mean, like Alex Kueng, who is black, or Tou Thao, a Hmong Asian-American??

Turning over yet another profession to those with certain credentials was an integral part of how the simple job of reporting became the job of crafting narratives to support a cause. Additional credentials and licensing will just be used to further what has already happened and will be used to ensure political purity in short order.

Because liberals know there is a significant part of the population will believe anything they say no matter how ridiculous. Liberals just need to put the misinformation out there knowing many will eat it up, accept it as truth no questions asked. I do know when I went to college for engineering my curriculum was 10 times more rigorous than my best friend - who was a JLMC (Journalism and Mass Communications) major.

We used to joke about how easy his major was. And he admitted it.

Its a dilemma as to whether to point out that the Left is wrong about the racial makeup of those they condemn--since we are already playing into the idea that it matters what the racial makeup was.

Its a scam. They will condemn a racial group as being barbarians. When you point out instances of them getting facts wrong and exaggerating to make their point they will accuse you of being a defender of what they accuse the racial group of doing. They did it to blacks decades back and do it to whites today. In both cases the racial group is seen as being the perpetrators of barbarous behavior and to disagree with them means to condone barbarism.

If you want to be a journalist..... write! Sure it helps to have an extensive background in say, literature or history. People used to get that in high school. But university level schools of journalism are a joke (to me anyway). Time was ink-stained wretches started as copy boys or runners and worked their way up and the best eventually became pundits or authors.... or both.

The thing many are ignoring is that Nelson is calling all four former prosecutors to testify.

There is the strong possiblity they were removed for the case for trying to get Dr. Baker to change his original autopsy.

If this is proven before the jury, it may end in mistrial before the trial is over.
