America doesn't have a jobs problem. It has a pathways-to-jobs problem. Our economy is producing jobs -- there were 7.4 million open jobs as of February in the midst of a pandemic -- but our education system isn't preparing people to fill those jobs.
What's worse, our workforce policies do a poor job of retraining people for the workforce of tomorrow. According to a study by PwC, roughly three out of four working Americans are ready to learn new skills to stay employable, but government-sponsored job training programs have a mixed-to-poor track record.

The government doesn't need to be responsible for OJT. Stop outsourcing jobs. Stop the unemployment perks.
Jeb, we neglect our workers because we replace them through H1-B visas every year. What number of these H1-Bs lied on their resumes? We can’t validate Indian and other workers’ education and employment.
You let businesses stomp on the Americans who actually vote and who forever pay taxes here.
Screw you.
Skills aren’t the problem; literacy, arithmetic and intoxicants are. I have three positions open which require a math test; so far, twelve fails, no passes. 4th grade arithmetic.
Jeb, don’t even think about running again. Nobody cares what you think.
Jeb Bush can say anything he wants but I am not interested
Save them the bother of cheating in ‘24.
Oh, they’ll cheat alright! Just look at 2016 and the tantrum that Hillary threw. They did their standard cheating and Trump beat them because it was all in the wrong places (like California). They didn’t make that mistake when they ran Biden in 2020, and they definitely won’t in 2024.
Jeb... you’re part of the problem. Not a solution.
Go away, Jeb!
This from the guy in front of the policy to offer SLAVE WAGES to LEGAL immigrants and minorities, by flooding the labor market with CHEAP, ILLEGAL ALIEN WORKERS?
And it never will.
Apprenticeships are one answer, but they are not enough to overcome the serious moral and intellectual shortcomings inculcated into our youth by government education.
“... government-sponsored job training programs”
Shut up, Jebbito.
Who gives a crap what “Jeb!” thinks about anything?
Jeb Bush took a $10 million dollar bribe for the Pearson common core book publisher. They also bribed many others to help dumb down Americas kids.
No profit left behind

What a Brainiac he is.. and who controls the educashional systems , Jeb? Your buddies. The Dems.
Idiot.
The Bush Family failed America.
Like all has-been dynasty’s , America no longer needs them
Simple answer Jeb! Create more jobs in the global climate change industry, that's what kids are trained for, to recognize threats when none exist.
I would love to see your test. FedGov job training isn’t the problem. It does suck and is a waste of money. I agree with Jeb on this. Our education system is completely broke. We don’t need kids going to government indoctrination I mean education centers until 18. Educate, separate , educate , separate. Paths for students 1) college bound 2) trade bound - educate them on that. Trade bound need real skills plumbing, construction, electrical and tax/book keeping. College bound need either STEM or other focus. Group 3 is the forever leaches. Train them on how to apply for benefits, swipe the EBT, alcohol cost benefit analysis (ripple, MD2020, 44s, ...) and the basics of prison/court/social services.
Don’t put all 3 groups together for 13 years. All we are doing is killing group 1 and 2.
Oh yeah. FU Jeb (please clap at my post 👏)
Jeb, George, and Mitt have never figured out that when CNN, NY Times, or Washington Post gives them a platform it is foe saying something stupid and wrong.
