Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday denied a report that claimed embattled Rep. Matt Gaetz sought a blanket pardon from his White House — for himself and unidentified congressional allies amid a federal probe of underage sex trafficking allegations.
“Congressman Matt Gaetz has never asked me for a pardon,” the 45th commander-in-chief said in the emailed statement, “It must also be remembered that he has totally denied the accusations against him.”

My theory (for what it's worth) is that the communist left - Hussein 0bama, soros, Madam Hillary Benghazi, etc. - have decided to go after Trump supporters one by one in an effort to marginalize The President and make him a weak candidate in 2024. Matt Gaetz was one of The President's most loyal and stalwart supporters, so he is their target.
