Excellent news. Now all those kids in the containers can get to wherever they are going.

Wonder how many dead migrants they will find when they open some of those containers.

For a little symbology, the [For]Ever [For]Given was freed from Egyptian soil during Passover, after “parting the waters.”
To: SaxxonWoods
This caused millions in increased shipping costs for the delay. Who will be found liable in court?
1. Shoei Kisen Kaisha, the owner of the Ever Given,
2. The Suez Canal Authority, (SCA) a corporation wholely owned by the Egyptian government,
3. Some low level pilot guiding the Ever Given through the canal?
4. Will it be declare force majeure, an act of God.
Determining fault first requires an inquiry as the the facts of the incident. Did the SCA allow a sand bar to build or remain that was a hazard to navigation? Should it have closed the canal to an oversized ship like the Ever Given? Generally, Egypt cannot restrict access to the canal under the Convention of Constantinople but there is an exception for "the defence of Egypt and the maintenance of public order." One would think that includes barring ships over a certain size that could prove a hazard to navigation. A good bet is that all of this will be blamed on the lowly pilot. It will be interesting to watch, although it will slip far from the main headlines.

It may not be easy to get ahold of a container ship and even more difficult to pay the $700,000 it cost to transit the Suez Canal.

Right. What worries me is Bad Guys are now saying, “All we have to do is get ahold of one big container ship...” You don't think they could have figured that out without this happening?
To: SaxxonWoods; All
Great news.
Now if we could have the same luck in getting the Biden/Harris theft ring "unstuck" from destroying our country.
They have grounded our economy and brought our lives to a grinding halt.

It would be more effective to have two ships. One blocking access at each end of the canal. With a state actor involved, the money is small change, but a well financed terrorist group could easily raise $700,000.

Not enough water in the canal? Water levels too low to admit that ship? Rising sea levels ain’t so everywhere? (theories)

Wonder how many dead migrants they will find when they open some of those containers. And not just the ones on the stuck ship. All of the ships caught in the traffic jam suffered the same delay.
