The Republican-controlled Wisconsin state assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution to authorize an investigation into the 2020 presidential election.
The resolution passed on a 58-35 party-line vote.
The committee will now have subpoena power to compel testimony and gather documents.
The Associated Press reported:
The Republican-controlled Wisconsin Assembly passed a resolution Tuesday to authorize an investigation into the 2020 presidential election that President Joe Biden narrowly won in the state.
The resolution, opposed by Democrats, is needed to give the committee authorization if it decides to issue subpoenas to compel testimony and gather documents, said Rep. Joe Sanfelippo. He is vice-chairman of the Assembly elections and campaign committee that would conduct the probe.
The resolution authorizing the investigation passed on a 58-35 party line vote, with all Republicans in support and all Democrats against. It passed after Republicans last month ordered an audit of the election results.
Republicans said they wanted to gather more evidence to see if laws were broken, but Democrats said they were trying to score political points, undermining the public’s faith in elections and insulting election clerks, poll workers and others who ran the election.
President Trump had a sizable lead in Wisconsin on election night when crooked Democrat elections officials stopped counting ballots.
By the next morning, Dementia Joe somehow took the lead.

Good, but it took them 3 months into the year.
It’s too late to prevent Sleepless Joe from relocating his basement, but not too late to improve integrity and confidence in future elections.

Where is the chain-of-custody for the “mail-in” ballots?

They probably know the RINOs in the Senate are gonna cave and pass HR1. This makes them look like they tried. Symbolism over substance!
Political posturing for the stupid. I suspect the internal feedback many politicians are seeing shows a very upset base. They all had the opportunity to act and most did not. The ones who are acting now know it will change nothing. However they can tell their constituents they acted and most will be dumb enough to fall for it.

Must fix election fraud. I believe it is too late. Commies dominate process. The fraud is computerized now, simple algorithm configuration changes done covertly.
Good! And may they find multiple crimes and miscreants; may dozens go to jail. However, it doesn't change the outcome of the 2020 election - nor prevent the same from happening again. Only we, the American people, can change outcomes.
