I am good for a lifetime. I am now 81. As a child I ate cellar dirt, sucked on rocks, pulled tar from the road and chewed it. And I also broke thermometers and played with the ball of mercury from them.

I’m good too. We kids were the classic dirty fingered, dirty faced, muddy clothes brood. Mom let us leave the house in the morning with the admonition “be home by dark or earlier if you’re hungry”. It was a glorious dirt-ball, allergy free childhood.
