Brian Fitzpatrick - Pennsylvania (1st term in congress)
Maria Salazar - Florida (1st term in congress)
Carlos Gimenez - Florida (1st term in congress)
Adam Kinzinger - Illinois (4 terms in congress)
Fred Upton - Michigan (16 terms in congress)
Chris Smith - New Jersy (20 terms in congress)

Fred Upton should have been primaried YEARS ago. I really don’t understand how he keeps that job. Maybe his family name still means that much (Upton’s grandfather/great uncle founded Whirlpool back in the day).

It goes much deeper than just that. There’s also a tax on mags, firearm insurance required, ammo tax etc.

It’s not just background checks It’s how long they take. I’ll bet the average to get the background check will be more than 8 months.
