There’s no accounting for taste, but, I’m sorry, Harry’s an idiot. He literally had his pick of millions of young women, and he picks her?
(1) She’s not a nice person.
(2) She’s not that attractive. I could walk down Chestnut Street here in San Francisco, and see dozens of 20/30-something girls who look a lot better than her.
(3) She’s an older, divorced American.
(4) She’s a strident, full-spectrum leftist.
There’s something really wrong with a guy who “slums it” to the extent that Harry did in this case. He’s like a guy who goes to the auto show and is told, “You can have any car in here. Take your pick of the Ferraris, BMWs, Bentleys.” And he says, “Thanks but never mind. There’s a 2014 Ford Fiesta I have my eye on.”
Are you kidding? Money won’t be their problem. They’re going to make mega millions with their Spotify and Netflix deals. What Harry will have is an estranged family and whatever difficulty eventually arises from being that woman’s husband.
