It’d be cheaper to put them in hi-rise condos along the Embarcadero as people move out of the city.

Kalifornia has a $15B surplus yet Biden’s covid bill is giving them over $30B
Where did the surplus come from?

My mistake. My girlfriend in college was from Watsonville. She lived across the street from Martinelli’s and bragged about Watsonville’s artichokes.

I wish I was getting $5000 a month heck I’d be happy with $1000 a month.

At the rate the gov’t is tossing money out we’ll be bankrupt or have the financial economy of Zimbabwe.

Just looked it up. They use "Zimbabwe Dollar".

Currently: 1 US Dollar equals 361.90 Zimbabwe dollars.

Example: A Loaf Of Bread In Zimbabwe Costs $17 USD! But they said a Big Mac Meal was $8. How could that be true? Confusing. Maybe I'll stay in the US. For now.

Still haven’t seen any of the MSM cub reporters ask THE question: “who owns the tents & rents them to the city for $16mm per year?”

The tent city concession has to go to a grandchild of nanner or a kid of newsome.

Bonus question: how much do they have to kick up to gavin or nanner?

They probably own the

Grifter Tent Company

the ( made in China )tents were bought from .

Our ca.state and u.s.fed goverments have become crime cartels apparently.

Washington
District of Corruption.

Would be funny if it weren’t true.

Do people really think they’re actually spending that much on the homeless? A better answer is that a bunch of beauracrats are getting rich off this.

The $5k doesn’t go to the poor homeless schlubs - goes to the Welfar Warriors who ADMINISTER the $5k each month!

Meanwhile, homeless schlubs fend for themselves!

Government in search of a mission.... one which enrich theIr supporters and expands government. Funny how Government decides what to spend then creates taxes to fund, when the working people see how much they have and decide what they can afford or save up until they can buy.

Maybe the $16mm "Grifter Tent Co" program is saving SF money compared to the $18mm/month cost of "temporary" motel rooms??

Anyway, as artichokegrower posted, Abigail C. Stewart-Kahn seems to the the public front for the SIP program.

here's an excerpt from hoodline piece on San Fran's Shelter In Place (SIP) program which can be found at the following link (The article deals with SIP motel rooms, but doesn't identify owners/players of the "Grifter Tent Co"):

https://hoodline.com/2020/10/sf-starts-transitioning-homeless-out-of-sip-hotel-rooms-leaving-their-futures-uncertain/

"And with Stewart-Kahn citing that budgetary limitations are why the City is easing out of the temporary program — though 75 percent of the $18M/month cost of those hotel rooms will allegedly be covered by the federal government — it’s unclear what exactly will happen to the homeless individuals that make up the 2,401 people currently in SIP hotel rooms. (SIP hotel rooms are also still available to front-line workers, but are vastly populated by the unsheltered.)"

Oh, and if you think I don’t care about the homeless you would be wrong.

I have been homeless, put on the street by the spotted owl hoax, no fault divorce, potential wage child support and affirmative action , competing and losing to thr illegal aliens for the lowest jmenial jobs.

Not for a week, not a month, 5 years.

I ate once a day. I gathered recyclables for that one day meal.

Your ( the authors and those libtard that agree with him this was a bargain)

” compassion” created all the circumstances that lead to mine and the current homelessness.
