37 Things to Know About H.R. 1, ‘For the People Act’

House Democrats passed H.R. 1, the so-called “For the People Act,” on Wednesday. The bill would radically change American democracy, nationalizing elections and making permanent changes to voting rules that would virtually ensure Democrats never lose another election.

The bill is 791 pages long — a massive piece of legislation, adopted with little examination or debate. Some provisions — like expanding access for voters with disabilities, improving election security, and ensuring that all voting machines use in U.S. elections are also manufactured in the U.S. — are uncontroversial. Others are potentially explosive.

Yup. "F" the people. Probably no items not related to voting included in those 791 pages either. List with article.

The first thing to know is the name of the bill is always 180 degrees from what it does.

Screw The People Act is more accurate.

I get it that H.R.1 is a horrible bill.
What I don’t know is, is this a fait a’compli?
Is there very much the GOP or moderate Dems (if they exist)
can do about it other than rave on Twitter?

How soon might this monstrosity be served to the president for his rubber stamp of immediate approval?

We don’t want this law. If the democrats do this, there will be a severe backlash.

“there will be a severe backlash”

Where? In the voting booth?

The communist’s have no fear of voter “backlash” because they have shown they can blatantly steal any election, and no one will do a dam thing about it.

Period.

Here is an interesting tidbit most do not know about H.R. 1, it was tried when the demoncraps took over the House during the Bush era. At the time though it was worded in such a way that it made it illegal to criticize Islime. This version has been expanded. The Bill either didn’t pass the last time or was not brought to the floor.

All through 0Bummer’s years there were polls on the position of Freedom of Speech, especially on campuses across the country. What we are seeing is the result of the college kids now in the workplace. Most agreed that Free Speech should be curtailed. You get what the demoncraps teach and if people continue to deride teachers that really deserve more not the Union pukes, no conservative is going to want to teach. This means the left will maintain control of our education system for a long time to come. You want to change the United States, you start with the children as young as you can. You then mold them through their elementary and secondary school years as they are most vulnerable then and no matter what they say, the children still see the teacher, good or bad, as someone to learn from because they are in the position of being a teacher. This in turn gives more what to the influence a teacher has on a child versus a parent who trods off to pay for their schooling 5 to 7 days a week.

To my mind, H.R. #1 is nothing more than "Self-sabotage" on a National level.
It is designed to cripple the United States politically, economically, agriculturally, and socially !
Leave it to the Dimwitted party to propose this as lawful legislation.

"We don't want this law. If the democrats do this, there will be a severe backlash."

Like what? The commies will lose the house in 2022?

The only backlash option we have is individual states nullifying DC into irrelevance. Short of that, these commies don't give a crap what we want or don't want.

They literally own the election process. You think an election will replace them? They KNOW they’re in for life now. Like Obama used to say, “Elections have consequences.” (Even if they’re stolen, right Barry?)

Most important thing to know about HR1:

It will never get 60 votes to invoke cloture in the Senate. All the talk about this bill is fear-mongering, the usual BS by the GOP. Relax. It won't become law regardless of the GOP using it to scare people so they send money.

Well, that's odd. For some reason the Breitbart story never mentions this...

“(e) Ability Of Replacement Systems To Administer Ranked Choice Elections.—To the greatest extent practicable, an eligible State which receives a grant to replace a voting system under this section shall ensure that the replacement system is capable of administering a system of ranked choice voting under which each voter shall rank the candidates for the office in the order of the voter’s preference.

Left an important bit out, didn't you, Breitbart....

“We don’t want this law. If the democrats do this, there will be a severe backlash.”

There will be no “backlash” until they try to confiscate firearms.

We have already let a Kenyan become POTUS and let the demoncraps steal an election.

Only a Lexington-Concord type event will combine the balls and righteous indignation to start the flow of water to the tree of liberty.
