The United States shouldn't ease restrictions in place to prevent Covid-19 before the number of new coronavirus cases falls below 10,000 daily, "and maybe even considerably less than that," Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday.
The US should pull restrictions gradually, after a substantial portion of Americans are vaccinated, Fauci told CNN's Jake Tapper.
Fauci's comments come as some states begin to pull back restrictions, including doing away with mask mandates, allowing businesses to fully open and increasing the number of people allowed at mass gatherings.
That is "inexplicable" Fauci said earlier.

Interesting. India which has a population of 1.4 billion and relies heavily on Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin now has less than 10 new cases per day. The US with a population of 330 million which actively inhibits the use of Hyrdoxy and Ivermectin is trying to get down to 10000 cases per day. Looks like we need to give the India health agencies control of health in the US and fire Fauci and friends.
Cases are irrelevant. No way to tell the virility of the virus. Hospitalizations or death are better measurements.

Will he explain himself? Has Fauci ever explained himself when he was wrong?

The "science" behind the lockdown policy is pretty shaky and far from settled.

That's why his number makes no sense. It's far from scientific.
