Texas lifted its mask order amid approval of Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine — and the announcement of an amped-up federal plan to get every adult in the US vaccinated by the end of May.

I seem to recall, at one time, Fauci said something about how he gives advice, but it is not his role to make decisions about restrictions instituted by governments in dealing with the virus.
It seems he now thinks he should be making these decisions.
And who exactly elected him to any executive position ?
He means just because he did not give the authorization. Screw Fauci. Time for states to reclaim their power.

Let’s let Texas and Mississippi and any other state lift their mask mandate, and let the people decide if they want to wear a mask, or a Fauci double mask, or no mask or whatever. Let the businesses decide if they want masks or no masks etc.
After 90 days, lets see the stats?

Relax Fauci... Your day in the sun is over and soon, when people take a look at the way in which countries dealt with covid made a real difference, and they determine that America suffered because of your terrible advice, they will chastise and berate your existence.
Since March of last year Australia separately quarantined all travelers entering their country for 14 days... The result. 909 deaths among a population of 25 million. The Aussies did it right. America and many other countries did it wrong thanks to the terrible advice given to their leaders by the likes of Fauci.
Sounds like the PTB are very afraid the two states won’t have a big increase in cases. Most of the big stores are keeping their mask requirements and many people will mask anyway. People know how to protect themselves now so I’m very curious to see how this goes.

A person like this who is so corrupted, so celebrity-obsessed and who, as a self-described "expert", is so often wrong should never be in a position to influence -- much less direct -- public policy.
Anyone who still believes anything -- anything -- Fauci says, thinks or does is not only a fool, but is a coward who cannot think for or take responsibility for himself.
Why can’t Fauci get wacked by a mugger like Seth Rich did?
Masks do not work. Simple as that. If masks worked so well, why were they not used in the widespread flu epidemics of recent years? Because they were used in the great Spanish flu world epidemic of 1918 and 1919, and had no measurable effect whatsoever on the spread of the disease.
We know today that UV-C light, ozone, and simple washing of hands are all far more effective means of eliminating virus and bacteria that any cloth or even fine-pore filter paper could ever be capable of. Trying to keep virus out with a cloth or paper mask, is like trying to keep mosquitos out of your yard with a chain-link fence. The mosquito does not even know a barrier was erected.
A transparent face protection shield would be at least as effective as a cloth or paper mask, it protects the eyes to some degree, and it is much easier to sterilize. Also easier to breathe with. And there is the factor of facial recognition.
