How do you like standing in line at the grocery store and having to see Kommiela’s face plastered on women’s magazines with glowing comments? Spit.

Until journalism returns to fairness and objectivity, America will remain divided. And Americans will keep losing trust in the “news” business. Not going to happen.
What we really need is a robust media to counter the "Progressive" Media.
The "Progressive" Left is doing everything it can to prevent alternate media.

Except I believe it was the National Enquirer that broke the Monica Lewinsky story when other “respectible” outlets spiked it.

46%? Please. How do they square 40% drop in viewers to 46% of believers? These people are morons.
To: Tench_Coxe
I thought it was Drudge who broke that story? Was he citing the Enquirer?

The Edelman “Trust Report” is published annually by a PR firm, which is notoriously a left-wing industry in bed with journos. Shave 20% off that number.

Cloward-Piven Strategy (CPS)
First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven — both longtime members of the Democratic Socialists of America, where Piven today is an honorary chair — the “Cloward-Piven Strategy”
seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. ...”Much more at the source:

The worst thing that ever happened in journalism education was the promotion of the idea that journalists should “make a difference” rather than providing dispassionate reporting and analysis devoid of a point of view.
“Making a difference” makes each so-called journalist approach every story through an agenda, and craft the reporting to promote that agenda.
After that, the only thing necessary to kill real journalism was to instill leftist ideas for them to use to filter everything.
Unfortunately today, the problem exists on the right too, as some feel it is necessary to counter the pervasive leftist propaganda. The result is that neither side is seen as fair or trustworthy. Journalism should never be judged by whether you agree or disagree with it, but only by whether it is true and complete.

Drudge indeed broke it, but the Enquirer picked it up and ran with it. Newsweek had the story initially and spiked it.

The worst thing that ever happened in journalism education was the promotion of the idea that journalists should “make a difference” rather than providing dispassionate reporting and analysis devoid of a point of view. The idea that journalists would be dispassionate and without a point of view was a relatively short-lived phenomena in American media.
Early newspapers were clearly partisan.
Most media was partisan until the idea of dispassionate reporting became the fashion for a period, mostly after WWII.
By 1965 the media was nearly completely taken over by ideological Progressives.

“Since Inauguration Day, left-leaning news outlets have repeatedly treated the Biden administration with kid gloves. Just a few short weeks ago, Americans were fed dozens of hard-hitting headlines about President Biden playing Mario Kart at Camp David. Before that, Americans were given feature stories about the Bidens’ two dogs, now living in the White House. Also breaking news: The dogs reportedly enjoy snow days. Their owner seems to enjoy them too, as he has repeatedly postponed key meetings due to minor weather events. Two inches of snow is now apparently too dangerous for America’s most powerful man.”
The hell you say...
