China has made anal COVID-19 swabs mandatory for all foreign travelers arriving in the country, a report said Wednesday.
The government has claimed that such tests provides a higher degree of accuracy than other screening methods for the virus, the Times UK reported...
Li Tongzeng, a respiratory disease medic, said that the anal swabs are better because virus traces stay longer in fecal samples than they do in the nose or throat, state media reported...
“Some Japanese reported to our embassy in China that they received anal swab tests, which caused a great psychological pain,” Katsunobu Kato, Japan’s chief cabinet secretary, told a news conference.

I think I’d be more concerned with what’s on the swab that they’re putting in the person’s rear.
That's the danger of public restrooms - no seat covers on the toilets. Every flush of crap can swirl fecal traces into the air, where it lands on other surfaces (or in your nasal passages). At home, I always close the toilet lid before flushing crap. In a public restroom, no can do, and you can get exposed to a stranger's fecal matter.
Has anyone else considered that Dr. Fauci might be in the employ of the CCP and has been directed to wreck the economy of the US?

If this were about SCIENCE and not COMPLIANCE the order would be to remove the mask before entering the restroom, placing it in a sealed ziploc bag, do your business, wash your hands, gingerly open and dispose of the bag and then mask up.
