Perhaps....A fight over a lover at a gay bathhouse and a guy pulled a knife and thrust it toward Mitt. Mitt slammed his arm to the side with a martial arts move and then hit him with a wine bottle but the guy's boyfriend then broke a wooden chair against Mitt's face, knocking him out cold. Bouncers cleared the place out and Mitt ended up in the street face down against the curb, bleeding and the cops took him to the hospital.

Or Mitt had such shiny dress shoes that as he stopped on a Boston street to admire himself in the clothes store window his foot slipped and he fell forward and hit his face, knocking himself unconscious.
