If the Capitol Police are waiting until after Biden’s SOTU speech before removing the fencing, the wait will be a long one. As of now, no date for the speech has been set and none has been proposed, except for an “unconfirmed” rumor of February 24 - a date denied by the WH. Probably best to keep the public walled-out until after the mid-terms in order to remind everyone of the “danger” presented by the “right wing extremists.”
