Joe Biden is finding out that reality bites when it comes to illegal immigration. While Biden frequently criticized Trump’s immigration policy as “inhumane” and “un-American,” the numbers of people trying to get in to the United States, one way or another, have skyrocketed since Biden took office.
“We’re seeing the highest February numbers that we’ve ever seen in the history of the [Unaccompanied Alien Child] program,” a Health and Human Services official told Axios.
And it’s only going to get worse. Customs and Border Patrol has briefed the White House on the grim prospect that as many as 13,000 unaccompanied alien children will arrive by May. With facilities already at the breaking point, that will mean that the government will need someplace to put these kids. It’s probable that Trump’s “kids in cages” is going to be a reality for Joe Biden, as well.
HHS is working with the Pentagon on securing space on military bases, where overflows of migrants were housed in tent-like structures during 2014 and 2019, the report said.
One aim expressed by Jonathan White, a top HHS career official, was preventing migrant kids from waiting out their immigration claims in unfit CBP holding cells
CBP warned top administration officials of the peak May numbers during a telephone meeting on Thursday involving senior-level officials with HHS, Homeland Security and the State Department, Axios said.
Federal law requires that official hold the kids for no longer than 48 hours in detention before handing them over to HHS where they are housed in facilities or handed off to charitable groups where they live until they get a hearing. The fact that officials are looking into sending overflows to military bases means that HHS is already full up or getting very close.

Upon entering the country illegally, immigrants are immediately outsourced nationwide to the communities best able to absorb their financial burdens. Communities with highest per capita income, best rated school systems, lowest crime rates, and the most secure housing including, but not limited to, gated communities.
Back to the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) which BOTH parties have been pursuing for 30 years until Trump tried to stop it.
That is why BOTH parties cheated him out of office.

This would impact the receiving agencies which do tend to follow the law. And in operation would allow the country to see the reaction of the rich elites in protecting their homesteads from incoming.
The border crisis that anyone could have seen coming is finally here, thanks largely to the actions of the Biden administration over the past few months. It turns out that promising to roll back Trump-era immigration restrictions, signing a raft of executive orders to that effect, and then introducing a mass amnesty bill sends the message that if you can get across the U.S.-Mexico border, you can stay.
Plenty of families in Mexico and Central America have gotten the message. According to a recent report in the Washington Post, for the past four months U.S. Border Patrol has taken into custody more than 70,000 illegal immigrants a month—the most for this period in a decade.
A growing number of those are children. Since November, the number of minors in federal custody has tripled to 7,000 after the Biden administration decided it would stop expelling minors and teenagers apprehended at the border without their parents.
On Tuesday alone, more than 400 minors in Border Patrol custody were referred to shelters run by HHS.
Compare that to the 30-day referral average of 294 minors at the peak of the 2019 border crisis. You might recall that in May 2019, federal agents arrested 133,000 people crossing the southwest border illegally. More than 11,000 of these were unaccompanied minors.
Put another way, if Border Patrol continues to pick up unaccompanied minors north of the Rio Grande at this rate, a month from now we’ll have a much worse crisis on the border than we did in 2019.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration seems disconnected from reality ( well he’s already half disconnected from reality on ANYTHING ).

Biden has 20,000 armed guards around Washington because 1 in 4 people in the country (not voters- 1-in-4 PEOPLE) actually voted for Trump.
Probably more when you consider how they ‘weighted’ votes in favor of biden AND STILL LOST SO BAD they had to manufacture millions of votes in the middle of the night.
You forgot to mention the Republicans who have been dangling the amnesty bait, Rubio, Grahamnesty, Tillis, Cornyn, etc.
Something IS going on.
At the local grocers near us, we have seen an influx of people whom we have not seen in our neighborhood or the store prior to a few weeks ago. They do not (at least not now) roam the neighborhood but they are at the local grocers near me. I have to wonder why and what are they doing all the way up where I live as this activity has not been detected in the last 10 years we’ve been here.
I’m sure the church is gleeful. It’s a real money maker for them.
