Wherein Pompeo describes how the leftists at the NYT described him as the worst Secretary of State in history, and China imposed sanctions on HIM.
I'm all for his candidacy, of any kind.
V. President, or even the Presidency, if Trump gets somehow sidelined.

Sorry I got the video off Newsmax's video, from their news summary website.
Couldn't actually locate the video url, so I am posting the main newsmax website.

Who makes a run for VP four years out?
Just putting his name out there.
He has a (close) relationship with President Trump.
Might be putting this out there, to minimize the left’s desire to get Trump.
Pompeo might be even stronger...
I just listened to Kristi Noem’s speech at CPAC. I think she would be a good VP for Trump in 2024.
He’d be a good one, and future Potus as well. He knows the enemy.
At this early point, DeSantis is my man; for VP or President if Trump chooses not to run. DeSantis is fearless like Trump and is also a doer not a talker. Pompeo is also a good man that I would feel comfortable with but a fantastic Sec of State.
Who makes a run for VP four years out?
Somebody who’ll be taking over the presidency in 8 years.
Well, USUALLY, such a person initially runs for PRESIDENT, and then accepts the Vice President slot. I guess I remember hearing that John Kennedy sought the 1956 Veep slot, so I guess it is one way to get your hat into the ring.
Josh Hawley is the rising conservative star.
Too bad we don’t have free and fair elections in the United States anymore.
He’d make a great president.
“He’d be a good one, and future Potus as well. He knows the enemy.”
I’ve been saying for a while that Pompeo would be the best successor to Trump. Best one I’ve seen so far anyway. He’s a brilliant man who ran the best foreign policy for this country since at least Reagan, maybe even since before that.
He seemed like he was all about what President Trump was doing. He was in Congress so he has firsthand knowledge of just how evil and corrupt his former colleagues are.
And as someone who used to drive the radical Leftist’s of the State Dept around Baghdad, I’d be willing to bet that almost all of the DOS employees hated his guts. Which is a very good thing.
One can only imagine what President Trump’s administration would have been like if he was VP instead of that scumbag, Pence. I’m thinking/as I g that he would have stood strong against the Swamp.
Justice Thomas put it as good as anyone can....
“The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling,” he wrote. “By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us.”
It's a good way to hedge your bets when there is still a question mark about if Trump will run again or not and because the Dems will surely be eager to play the race and gender game with their ticket, whatever it may be, picking another white guy seems like a bad move. So, you say "he'd make a great VP" and people think, hey why not.
Pompeo was probably the most effective of Trump's cabinet members, but prior to being in the cabinet he wasn't a prominent politician on the national stage. People looking for a candidate to support this far out are looking to hitch their horse to something with momentum, and Pompeo seems like he'd be a great candidate to boost another candidate's momentum but they're unsure of whether or not he's strong enough to stand on his own to lead the ticket.
Whatever the case is for 2024, it's far more likely that Trump will be a candidate for president than Biden in the next election.
I was very impressed with Gov.Kristi Noem’s speech at CPAC.
Frankly, I think she’s the only woman I’ve seen in many years who might have a real shot at becoming our first female American President.

Well, if you were handicapping 2024, you would have to put Trump, DeSantis, Cruz, and I guess Pence in the mix for the GOP nomination. Maybe the best way to elbow your way into that group is through the Veep door. Then you see what happens.
When Biden resigns, Harris will be the first female President.
Pompeo / Noem if Trump is somehow unavailable.
:)
I like him as Sec of State
just as an aside, who wrote his wiki page? the CCP? if anyone knows how to edit wiki it could use some truth
There are some guys too valuable to be politicians. This is one of them. He’s needed as a cabinet member. SOS is a perfect job for him. VP is a do-nothing position.

Pompeo is great! I want him back as SOS again. He’s one of the best we ever had.
