In fact, it looks like the rest of the family is buried in Cape. This must be a newer plot for him. It is a destination celebrity cemetery in St. Louis, with books written about the families buried there. And, security will insure respect for his place of rest.
Life just isn’t the same without him. But, at the rate the GOP and Biden are selling us out, we may be glad he is gone and not able to witness our demise.

“I presume that’s where the rest of his family is buried?”
Most likely. His family has been there for decades — maybe generations. They may have a family cemetery.

“Maybe a MOF benefit ?”
Good guess. I think you might be correct.

According to Find A Grave — see post 20 for link — his parents are buried in Cape Girardeau, and he is the only Limbaugh listed at Bellefontaine Cemetery. Bellefontaine is an old and famous St. Louis cemetery.
A blessed repose to him, and may his memory be eternal.

Beautiful, somber photos.
May your reward in Heaven be greater than even you could imagine, Rush.

I wonder how many vile comments have been scrubbed by find-a-grave. I’ll bet it’s in the thousands.

Yes. Read it after I posted.
It’s good to be buried with family. Our family cemetery is from the 1700s, and my pitiful body will be there one day.

Not saying this explains it, but Rush’s importance to the country, his value when it comes to upholding everything that this country stands for—who, alive today compares with him? He, indeed, provided 33 years of service to our nation in defense of our republic.
I mean no sleight to any of my military FRiends, do not mean to minimize military traditions or protocols, but, this is not just some celebrity, not just some notable conservative; it’s Rush.

I asked the program director of my local talk station to put together a memorial gathering for us local dittoheads. He liked the idea.

Could be a Marine that Rush helped that asked to honor him in this way.

I am sure there are plenty of actively serving Marines who would be honored to participate in this manner. I’ll bet social media is already working to out this guy. I hope his superiors don’t retaliate against him.

Funny that it would be St Louis rather than Cape Girardeau.
To: fwdude
Same here. It still doesn’t seem real. I started listening to him in 1991 when I was in High School, and knew that someday he might retire from radio. I just didn’t expect that he would go out like this.

Let’s hope they can keep the gravesite secure, as the commies will do all in their power to desecrate it.

No it’s not. Rush resting site would bring mayhem to Cape Girardeau. He is like a President...needs a safe, protected and visitable place.
