To some extent, my feeling toward this “reparations” crap is the old Dirty Harry line... “Go ahead, make my day.” If the Dems start cutting five or six figure checks to the 12-15% of the population who are black or claim to be black, the non-black population will flee to the GOP in droves. Employment was called slavery a long time ago. Some masters (employers) did it righteously and morally (letting them go after six years, signing property over to them, etc.). [Yes, there were rules.] Others did it wrongfully and immorally.
Today, there are many millions of whites in the U.S.A., who didn’t enslave anyone. Maybe Obama would like to try exhuming unrighteous slave owners from the distant past, to see if he can get some money out of them.
