Liz Cheney, the third ranking House Republican, on Tuesday called on the Republican party to "make clear we aren't the party of white supremacy." Cheney's remarks came during an event hosted by the Reagan Institute.
"It's very important for us to ignore the temptation to look away," Cheney said. "And it's very important, especially for us as Republicans, to make clear that we aren't the party of white supremacy.
"You certainly saw anti-Semitism. You saw the symbols of Holocaust denial... you saw a Confederate flag being carried through the rotunda," she said, referencing the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol. "We, as Republicans in particular, have a duty and an obligation to stand against that, to stand against insurrection."
Cheney has been one of the most vocal Republicans to speak out against the insurrection and what she sees as former President Trump's role in inciting the events of January 6. Cheney on Tuesday voiced support for the creation of a "9/11 type commission" to investigate the assault. She said part of the commission's mandate should be to take a "clear eyed look" into Mr. Trump's and his allies' false allegations of a widespread fraud and a "stolen" election leading up to the attacks.

By making such statements, she is in effect buying the premise that her own voters are deplorable racists.

Quite simple, "white supremacy" = white majority.
So your platform is, we are against white supremacy. Sounds like a winning strategy.
Let’s start with you Liz, you’re white getting rid of you would be half the battle.

But they don’t believe it. They don’t believe anything or stand for anything. They just run around looking for approval and a pat on the head by the establishment that they belong to. They accept every premise put in front of them because they think it will get them something.
There isn’t an apology they can’t make fast enough or loud enough.
They are sorry that they exist.
They are sorry you exist.
And they think that by being so so very sorry they are gaining support or respect from someone.
The kicker? In doing this, they are selling you and I down the road.
Any term of derision that comes from the media, be it racist, White Supremacy, Insurrection, “Our democracy” etc. is designed with the simple purpose of labelling or cowing anything that isn’t coming from them. Any disagreement or anyone that dares think or say anything out of line is hit with those words or phrases.
You say, the election was problematic. They say, you are threatening “our democracy” with such talk. But by “our democracy” they mean their power.
You say, I want a sane and rational immigration system that values our own citizens. They say, racist.
You say, we should look to our citizens first. They way “White Nationalist.”
And a coward like Liz Cheney readily nods her head because she is either afraid or wants to secure her own power. She empowers and gives fuel to the fire consuming her.
