An estimated 5.6 percent of Americans identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, according to a new Gallup report. That’s up from 4.5 percent in 2017, the last year polling on the issue was conducted by the organization.
Of those surveyed who identified as LGBTQ, 54.6 percent identified as bisexual, 24.5 percent as gay, 11.7 percent as lesbians, 11.3 percent as transgender and 3.3 percent said they used another term to describe their identity (i.e. queer or same-gender loving). The total exceeds 100 percent because respondents were able to choose more than one category.
The results were based on more than 15,000 interviews conducted with adults 18 and older throughout 2020.
The percent of Americans who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer increased 60 percent between 2012 and 2020, according to Gallup.
Younger Americans are increasingly likely to consider themselves part of the LGBTQ community: Nearly 16 percent of Generation Z, those 18 to 23 in 2020, consider themselves something other than heterosexual. That compares to just 2 percent of Americans 56 and older.

I get what you are saying. Yes, I remember some kids when I was a kid who I knew were... different. Even when I didn’t know what “gay” was. And yes, they turned out to be gay.
BUT, there is also a large contingent who were either abused as children, or who suffer from depression or are mildly autistic who are “convinced” that they are gay / transsexual. This is a HUGE deal in the UK.
At the end of the day, i think things return to the mean as people age, and by the time this generation is 50, the percentages will be about what they are for the current crop of 50 year olds.
When we see school districts aggressively promoting homosexuality as somehow a noble status, what should we expect?

That's because under the current administration, such self-identified people are given preferential treatment in a "Cultural Identity " climate.
In this environment of "Cancel Culture", normal people are considered banal, and are discriminated against.
The world is currently "Topsy-Turvey", where what was considered normal is deviant,
and what was deviant is now encouraged.
Preference is now given to identity, rather than to character, talent, success, or merit.

Some girl named JoJo has a line of headbands/ribbons which young girls love but this JoJo recently came out as having a girlfriend.
These kids are being brainwashed into thinking this is all cool and experiment with this.
Just a few years ago, professional psychological organizations said there were 2% homosexuals, slightly more for males, slightly less for females. There was no mention of the other letters, T, Q and undecideds.

God made the first humans. The rest are products of humans themselves. In a larger context yes God made us, then again we are all imperfect to varying degrees and you can say God also made killers, molesters and liars. Doesn’t mean hes okay for any to lean in to that and commit sinful acts. I do believe many are born gay of course, and I don’t fault them for it. But one cannot ignore scripture which states God does not agree with homosexual acts. I didn’t say it, He did. For him to judge not me.
