I have no problem with this and it's not because I'm part Cherokee. I think every group of people who are in a position to make a stink about their name/heritage/culture being appropriated should jump on the bandwagon and call out every leftist they find violating the left's new rules. I'd like to know why the Congressional Black Caucus doesn't wear African garb to work every day. Seems to me they've appropriated another culture when they don't. Is Frederica Wilson a cowboy? Is Sheila Jackson Lee a Danish woman? What would happen if Rand Paul showed up to work with corn rows? The left wants some chaos, let's give it to them.

Actually, there is an Eastern Cherokee nation that is not affiliated with the Oklahoma Cherokee tribe.   Their ancestors lived in the Smokey Mountains and were not rounded up and force marched to Oklahoma on "The Trail of Tears."
