All the needed was Kavanaugh and Barrett.
If you had an entirely gop appointed scotus bench it would still only be marginally better than 5 Democrat appointed justices.
Looks like Kavanaugh and Barrett are shaping up to be big disappointments. For all their pretend defense of the Constitution, they are just two more liars in a pit of liars, thieves and perverts.

The new Supreme Court Conservatives promoted and approved by the turtle himself are not proving to be who we we assumed they were.
The only thing that I can think of is that these quislings are worried that rocking the boat too much will cause manchin and Sinema to fold on the filibuster and wind up with a 13 seat bench by the end of the year. That shouldn’t be of any concern to them but neither should saving Husseincare have been of any concern to Roberts.
The two judges Trump fought the hardest for. Secession is the only answer.
Comey Barrett is a plant.
Kavanaugh is a moral coward - you saw it in his hearing.

My guess is these people were pushed by Peking Mitch McConnell behind the scenes.
In my opinion, the failure here is not SCOTUS. The failure is with the state legislatures too afraid to 1) investigate the election and 2) unwilling to do anything about it.
We did not lack laws during the 2020 election. What was and continues to be missing is enforcement of those laws.
