In Britain, soldiers and politicians who came out of the world wars with enhanced reputations were said by their peers to have “had a good war.” Similarly, in coronavirus America, some politicians have had a “good pandemic.” But no politician in the country turned in as Churchillian a performance over the past year as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo became a hero to Democrats across the country last spring, his stature on par with President Barack Obama, with live-streamed daily press briefings that projected steely resolve and paternal authority in the face of a deadly menace. The New York Times’ media columnist Ben Smith called him “the executive best suited to the coronavirus.”
Brash and seemingly no-nonsense, he was a welcome relief from former President Donald Trump, whose approach to the virus ranged from denial to conspiratorial gibberish. With Cuomo at the helm, New York would keep a stiff upper lip and flatten the curve by itself.
Yet Cuomo’s star turn is at odds with his actual record. The governor’s confident bluster has obscured his habit of dismissing scientific expertise in service of burnishing his own reputation and asserting his final authority over every lever of power and policy in the state.
Cuomo’s record speaks for itself, and it’s a far cry from the rosy picture the national media painted a year ago. His leadership bears little resemblance to the tale of triumph he presented in his premature pandemic memoir. New York did not, in fact, best the Covid-19 “mountain” through “the power of ‘We,’” as the Cuomo administration suggested in a bizarre promotional poster. Cuomo’s briefings may have been a comfort to many in the spring, when there was precious little relief from Trump’s gleeful malevolence. But it’s time to stop grading Democrats on the Trump-era curve.

as well as providing ventilators that Cuomo was supposed to have stockpiled but did not.
It was worse then that, he had 13,000 in a warehouse, when he was whining about not having ventilators, Jared, sent Cuomo a tweet stating that Cuomo had 13,000 ventilators in a state owned warehouse and gave Cuomo the address. He even state to Cuomo that you and your agencies know you have these but haven’t moved a single ventilator.
It was epic because it showed he was a freakin liar trying to get attention and cause problems where there wasn’t one.
I saw a nursing home CEO on Laura Ingraham show and he was begging Cuomo to not send them Covid positive patients. That was in March/April. He said he is not alone, never saw him again or any other nursing home reps since.
Who instructed RATS to infect nursing homes and make deaths rise? WHO? Cuomo should spill the beans. What expert suggested it would be a good plan to send the elderly patients to nursing homes?

That was my guess, get rid of the older pension drawers to keep the public pension afloat
Trump admin sent out guidelines that the covid patients needed to be isolated in separate buildings with their own staff that doesn’t work in non covid wards or buildings
Cuomo wiped his butt with it and basically was like, we are not going to follow any orders from Trump because Orange Man bad. And he kills grandma to prove that Trump’s orders were not to be followed.
That was basically what he was doing, defy the Trump administration at all costs.
His Ventilator shortage was a fraud as well, I remember Kushner tweeted Cuomo the address in New York of a State owned FEMA warehouse that had over 13,000 ventilators in inventory and none were removed from the facility and basically said use these first before demanding more. The media was pretty quiet on that tweet because it showed Cuomo being a giant fraud.
His record was known all along by actual media.
They have a corrupted system where they protect each other, they have gamed the voting system so no one but rats get elected, they pass laws that now can protecting from being convicted of murder as well as giving themselves raises. And the people rejoice in wearing double masks being locked inside for months on end, no school for the kiddies, no work for mommy and daddy, middleclass businesses destroyed purposely, what’s not to like? And now they are satisfied and rejoice in having a stolen election for a guy with dementia and a bunch of seething radicals that hate this country. Job well done
The corrupt media that makes a thug a hero is the same corrupt media that can destroy that thug when he has outlived his usefulness. And when they want to replace him with somebody even worse.
My first question is WHO in the liberal swamp did Cuomo p*ss off in order to have them finally turn on him?
And my next question will other Dem Governors be next? Wolf from PA...I mean you and your tranny health secretary who sent his mother to a hotel so she would avoid the fate of the other folks in her nursing home.

The New York 💕Gov.Andrew Cuomo was a hero to NBC, CBS, ABC,CNN, FOX and of course the woke left-wingers. His awesomeness garnered an award from the International Emmy Foundation for “effective communication and leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic”.
Gov. Cuomo issued an order to nursing homes and elder care facilities requiring them to take in elderly people who may be Covid positive. He knew he was issuing a death sentence to seniors but that was his plan all along. The International Emmy Foundation apparently was okey dokey with his plan to eliminate senior citizens.
In a widely distributed ad many woke American actors and directors praised the actions of Gov. Cuomo, he was their hero. Killing senior citizens was acceptable to them.
Remember the thousands of seniors who died and their families.

I believe between the Federal Government and the CDC the amount awarded to the State for each Covid related death was $39,000 per individual death.
Do the math. NY has thus far recorded over 46,000 deaths
46,000 deaths x $39,000 each = $1,794,000,000 dollars
That's CORRECT... 1.7 BILLION DOLLARS!
