This episode of CBS’s NCIS LA pushes a common Michael Bloomberg theme on women and guns (Season 12 Episode 10, February 14, 2021). A woman explains to the NCIS LA agents that she has a gun for protection, but the gun was stolen. She says that she never thought that one of the people she knew would steal it, and Marty Deeks (played by Eric Christian Olsen) says in exasperation: “We never do.” His partner (Kensi Blye, played by Daniela Ruah) is making faces to show how stupid she thinks the woman is for having a gun.

Americans in their 20s (and most in their 30s) don’t watch TV, they don’t even HAVE a TV.
They get everything on the interweb, everything, and the “based” conservatives (like my kids) are WAY conservative.
Our battles between CNN, FOX, etc, are lost on them. Might as well be “Brinkley vs Cronkite.” Ancient history. Prehistoric.
Nah...they don't do that schtick on NCIS-LA, it is reserved for NCIS-NO, and they have done it at least three times.
I disagree with "the kids are OK" optimism. The kids may have some conservative values, but they are not grounded in religion, because most don't come from a religious background. Those values therefore will not withstand the pressures of life. Those kids will fold when the Troubles come.

Hahaha. I don’t even care about CBS right now. I just scored an entire brick of small rifle primers for 40 bucks. I remembered an old friend of mine who used to go shooting with us who was very into reloading. He’s got to be about 85 now. On a lark I called and asked if he may have any small rifle primers he’d be willing to sell. He said due to health he didn’t shoot much anymore and he had a brick he’d be willing to sell me for 20 bucks. I told him they were worth more than that now and offered $100. He said that would be taking advantage of me since he didn’t think he’d ever use them and said he would take 40 because that’s what he paid for them, but no more. I didn’t argue. A very good day.

Try Big Sky, has a nice plot, no SJM or BLM propaganda so far. I think NCIS LA was intended to replace NCIS but Gibbs held on. NCIS lost any semblance of entertainment long ago but was the most watched show in the world, may still be. They have young-a-fied Gibbs to try and keep the show alive. The NCIS LA show went full muzzle some time ago. Even Chicago PD has bit the SJM bullet. Had a big BLM show last season now the Sergeant is calling down his toughest man on his team because what he did seemed too rough in public eyes, which is what of course made the show popular in the first place. Chicago Med of course went full Covid. I wouldn't let kids watch any of those shows without pointing out the propaganda that infects all of them.
I am cutting ties with any show that makes gay agenda prominent in their story line. NCIS New Orleans finally pushed me out. If I can't edit out the inappropriate content easily I cut them out entirely.
The above shows are real gamewardens working out in the field.

Cronkite kept to the news petty much and didn't become obvious until Vietnam war. And that is the way it was.
Walter retired and went to San Francisco to work with Gorbachov on World Population Control. Gorby moved here after his stint as a dictator, wonder why?
