I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
Rush Limbaugh was a revoltionary. He opened millions of eyes to the true destructive nature of liberalism/Marxism.
But oddly, the first thing that came to my mind, upon hearing the heartbreaking news of Rush's death, was the final scene from the movie "Dead Poets Society" (It is one of my all time favorite films).
But then I realized that both the movie, and Rush Limbaugh had been profound influences in my life.
The movie introduced me to the beauty of poetry, and looking at things from different angles, and Rush Limbaugh introduced me to the ideas and principles of freedom, and our Constitution.
He taught me to have a much deeper appreciation for our country than I had before.
But, returning the film clip: It shows students paying tribute to their teacher by stepping onto the tops of their desks, because earlier in the film, he had them stand on top of a desk, in order to "see things from a different perspective."
In closing, I will quote from the person who posted the clip:
The students pay tribute to their teacher "who taught them to think differently, to seize the day (carpe diem), and to stand up for what is right".
These things hold true for me , when I think of the influence of Rush Limbaugh in my life.
Rest in God's peace "Oh Captain my Captain".
the second i heard his wife...
and people were glad 2020 was over

In a statement Premiere notes, “Rush’s voice will continue to be heard, providing comfort and continued insight to his legions of loyal fans. All of Rush’s audio has been extensively archived and cataloged by subject, topic and opinion. His producers will be able to pull segments that are relevant for each day’s news cycle and allow us to feature the best of Rush for the full three hours of the program.”
Guest hosts will be used to “guide Rush’s audio from one topic to another, but Rush will be the predominant voice heard for the three-hour Monday-Friday show, the AM Daily Update and The Week in Review three-hour show.” The show will continue “with this transitional programming until his audience is prepared to say good-bye” with additional information posted at RushLimbaugh.com when necessary.
We have heard from affiliates who have been told it will be a minimum of 90 days before permanent plans for the 12-3pm eastern slot are solidified.
Just when you thought things could not get worse, they did.
Rush Limbaugh's last segment before sign-off, 12/23/20, 'Stille Nacht'

Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
Rush died?!?! Rest in peace, you patriotic man.
Yeah, he called her Punkin. Oh, how I am going to miss that man.
Thank you. I really hope that James Golden will be the one to tie this together on-air as he was the soul to Rush’s Heart and Mind..
Fake news.:-) Rush is not dead. His body may be dead.
But the real personal connection and motivation and information and insight that he brought to millions like me Will live forever.
That makes him immortal.
"...I really hope that James Golden will be the one to tie this together on-air...."
You’re very welcome, FRiend!
Go easy, El Rushbo. You were and still are the best.
Rush supported Romney’s embarrassing Presidential campaign. Romney is POS.
He had too as the voice of conservatism.
