I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
Godspeed Rush Limbaugh. You inspired generations and made a difference that will endure for generations. Heartbroken but inspired.
Others in this thread have said Feb 2 and 3.
It’s overwhelming in a way.. I’ve spent 30 yrs leaning on Rush’s common sense and brilliance.. RIP Rush
God bless Rush, prayers for his wife and family.
Thank you for that information. I know if was only a week or so ago I heard him and I know he talked about the Jan 6th false flag plenty of times that I caught him on and not a guest host filling n for him.
That is exactly how I feel.....I'm just numb....
Loved loved loved his bumper music- especially when he played “shakin all over” and “fresh air” by Silver Messenger Service.
Hope there’s a compilation somewhere or sometime.
Thank you and yes! Just got off a conservative site that had posted all the hateful comments and tweets. Good think they were behind a computer screen otherwise I would have punched them. Soulless and amoral they are.
Cut it short because I’m upset enough as it is.
This is one of those losses from which there is no recovery. There's just a persistent emptiness.
Maybe he can't be replaced, but we damned well better try to replace him ASAP.
RIP and thanks, Rush.
Rush was a Man’s Man and for that sharpened many who saw Rush as their friend,..and He felt close to his audience listeners. we all shared that sense of being in his life and vice versa....
Such a sad day.....and yet I find comfort that He’s face to face with Our Lord who no doubt is enjoying him.
I hope you have found comfort in your family, friends, neighbors and animals as I have. They have gotten me through this.
I am very very upset about Rush today. It feels like one of the recent deaths I just experienced.
Best to you in your healing and moving on.
An icon has passed. RIP el Rushbo.
The podcast list says Todd Herman filled in for Rush on the 3rd. So it looks like his last show was the 2nd.
Listening to it now.
You would never be able to tell he was sick at all. A true professional dedicated to excellence to the very end.
It saddens me greatly that he had to see our county take a final turn on the road to becoming a despotic communistic hell scape in his last days on earth, after all the fighting he did to try and prevent it.
Rush has been a a part of my life for over 30 years. I feel like I’ve lost a friend.
I can offer only condolences to his family and friends on both sides of the EIB microphone. A sad day for this fan as well.
Sadness is palpable in all Freepers on all Rush threads, and I think I’ve been on every one of them. Today we lost an irreplaceable conservative populist icon. I adored him.
2021 is shaping up to be worse than 2020.
Very sorry to hear that. R.I.P. Rush...
