Sadness is palpable in all Freepers on all Rush threads, and I think I’ve been on every one of them. Today we lost an irreplaceable conservative populist icon. I adored him.

I didn't hear until late this afternoon!.....even though we knew this day would come the news was gut wrenching on hearing.....which evidences in us all the fondness and love we have for this great man.....he got into our very hearts.
