Today, for some reason, my morning was not that great. Took part in the mass for Ash Wednesday and I and had received the Blessed Holy Ashes. When 12:06PM can, and when I heard from Katherine, his widow that Rush had passed on February 17, 2021, I was in shock. Yes Rush told us he will one day passed, even so, this hit me like a “ton of bricks”.

I am at a loos for words. I listened to Rush since about 1991. I was just a high school kid when I stared listening to him, and enjoyed his show. He was one of the most optimistic people I have ever known.

My mom is 83. My pit bull is 16. I always knew 2021 would be worse for me then 2020. I wasn’t wrong. RIP Rush my heart aches.
