I’m so sad. I spent 14 years of my work day with Rush. He taught me so much and on some days cheered me up. Rest in Peace. I will never forget you.

“ But all of a sudden I’m also filled with resolve.”

That is so true. One of Rush’s legacies

Solid tribute by Steyn
I had a bad feeling yesterday when I heard Steyn hosting show
Won’t be the same without El Rushbo
As many on here, he was a part of our morning routines

Yesterday, I think about 2:30, Mark Steyn came back from a break and there was something in his voice - I had the awful thought he’d just had bad news about Rush. Honestly.
Thanks to God in Heaven for Rush, and for the talent God loaned him. He is already sorely missed. God bless Rush’s family in this sorrowful time.

Rush was the most amazing person because he understood what we stood for...and what the Leftists stood for.

His “Rio Linda” references were not patronizing, they were to relate to normal, conservative people who were naive to the hateful Left and what they did in secret and in their faces.

Ma and Pa had no idea until Rush came along.

He took the clay of Conservatism and made a fine statue we can always look at and admire.

Rest in Peace Rush, you are a National Treasure.

Prayers to his wife and family.

I can tolerate cigars better than cigarettes but that is just me. Some cigars have wonderful smells. Cigarettes almost never.

We learned so much from him and his love and enthusiasm and belief in America was contagious and unmatched.

So glad President Trump gave him that award. I’ll never forget that moment. And I’ll certainly miss the sound of his voice. Glad he’s free from pain and in God’s loving arms.🙏

Will the funeral and burial be in Cape Girardeau? I’d really like to pay my respects. I would assume President Trump will be there.

A sad day. I’ve listened to him since the late 1980’s. One of my best memories was attending a “Rush to Excellence” appearance in the auditorium of a local high school. He was an incredible performer on stage.

He is a man who literally made a major positive impact on the nation. Had he not appeared on the scene in the late 1980’s I have no doubt the country would be much farther down the road to big state tyranny. Thanks to Rush, and Ronald Reagan, the end of the free republic was delayed through much of my lifetime.

It is comforting to know his suffering has ended and he is in the arms of God.
