A sad day. I’ve listened to him since the late 1980’s. One of my best memories was attending a “Rush to Excellence” appearance in the auditorium of a local high school. He was an incredible performer on stage.

He is a man who literally made a major positive impact on the nation. Had he not appeared on the scene in the late 1980’s I have no doubt the country would be much farther down the road to big state tyranny. Thanks to Rush, and Ronald Reagan, the end of the free republic was delayed through much of my lifetime.

It is comforting to know his suffering has ended and he is in the arms of God.

I started listening to him when he went national. My dad had just died and I thought he would love this guy. I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. I once told my husband that my dream would be to have a meal one on one with Rush.
