Republican leader Mitch McConnell trashed President Trump following his second acquittal Saturday by the US Senate.
McConnell brutally trashed President Trump following his acquittal.
McConnell and the GOP elites (GOPe) worked against President Trump for years preventing him from passing his wildly popular agenda to protect America, its workers, and its citizens.
As reported earlier, McConnell did not hold back as he ripped Trump apart for a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” and attempting to “overturn the election.”
He claimed that the protesters stormed the Capitol because they had been “fed wild falsehoods by the most powerful man on earth,” and that Trump was “practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day.”
And then Mitch McConnell suggested that President Trump can still be charged in the criminal justice system!

We finally see the true face of The Turtle.
He is a RAT....just like Paul Ryan.
When that happens, he stands a good chance to lose his minority leader position and become more irrelevant than he already is.
The turtle is hoping to dodge any further inquiry into what really happened on Jan 6th.
If that is correct, and because of the hazards of discovery, I believe it is, then he is just bluffing....making a big noise.

Others here have called him dumb but if you look back at his past moves you will see a pattern. He definitely is a long view thinker and planner. For instance the matter of judges. Approving the judges did not hurt him in any way but it hid the fact that he had a knife to be used at the appropriate time. So approving those judges kept president Trump from fighting him in public. He even managed to get President Trump to support him for re-election.
So there is an unknown answer for “Why?” A deflection of attention from the real plan.

Usually when there’s a conspiracy, it is very difficult to keep all parties quiet after the fact. When the vote-counting shut downs happened during the night but only in the swing states and only in the big city Arenas were they were counting votes, it seems that multiple people had to be involved in this plan. Will they be able to stay quiet about it forever?

If I ever live anywhere such that it makes a difference in the primary, I will re-register as a republican. I would actually prefer the President Trump starts a new party, perhaps called the Freedom Party.

I agree except, at this point, I wouldn’t put anything past them. They can try to do to PDJT what they did to General Flynn.
If that happens it’ll be a real trigger point for me. I could safely decide that the republic is over and the tree of liberty needs fresh water.
McConnell and gang, including McCarthy, Paul Ryan e.t.c. made sure that those in charge of these key agencies did nothing, slow walked any investigation, and hid any incriminating evidence. They prevented Trump from firing these characters.
