Most ever want third party, but GOP wants Trump in charge: Support for a national third party now at an all-time high of 62%.

Division by both sides on the directions of the Republican and Democratic parties has helped drive support for a national third party to an all-time high of 62%.

In the latest Gallup survey, just 33% are pleased with the two-party system.

What’s more, former President Donald Trump’s talk about his own “MAGA” party could be playing a role in a spike in GOP support for something new.

“Republicans' record desire for a third party comes at a time when they are deciding whether to remain loyal to Trump or to move on from him,” according to the survey analysis just released.

“Currently, 68% of Republicans prefer that Trump remain the party leader, while 31% want the party to have a new leader. Republican-leaning independents, however, are divided, with 47% wanting Trump to continue leading and 51% preferring a new voice,” Gallup said. “Republicans' preferences for a third party are similar among those who want Trump to continue to lead the party and among those who prefer a new leader.”

It’s either that or we become kamikaze voters for one cycle and vote Democrat to purge the GOP.

From the ground up— history has shown this to be untrue. It can be done.

The examiner and its lackeys want a waste of time 3rd party (like Perot did, in his case he said to “strengthen the democrat party” which he did, peeling off the independent/repub vote for Billy Cokenose Clinton and wife, for the demonrats).

Teddy Roosevelt started the Bull Moose party- in reality a Progressive Party— it did not work:

“...Roosevelt shared many of the progressive policies of Wilson, yet his core support came from ex-Republicans who defected from the party. Taft was defeated, getting 3.5 million votes compared to Roosevelt’s 4.1 million. Together, Taft and Roosevelt earned a combined 50% of the popular vote to Wilson’s 43%. The two former allies split the vote, however, opening the door for Wilson’s victory...” (and WWI for the Globalists, who did not stop the Communists takeover of Russia).

The craziest thing is fear of splitting the non-Dem vote that would lead to a one-party state (and 1p media, finance, health system, etc.) when the Truth is we’ve had that for half a century.

With the exception of the “brief and shining moment”) of America First 2017-2021 RIP.

The GOP just joined with the Democrats to cheat out of office the best President in decades, they have shown they will burn the party to the ground rather than let conservatives save our country.

But keep electing Assistant Democrats........................

It’s a trap.

I used to think that, but now I am not so sure. While a 3rd party might not win a presidential election anytime soon, it is quite possible for one to win some congressional seats, and there is plenty of precedent for that. If a 3rd party were to win a significant number of House seats, perhaps as few as five or ten, for example, it would control the balance of power, with its influence extending far beyond its numbers.

It’s not over, this loss was a long time coming due to a large number of Benedict Arnolds in the Republican party that thought only of themselves and their large benefactors.....

They have been completely outed and in the open......

Easy pickings.... let’s get’em and get the party back on track!

My opinion, Splitting the Republican party into Trump and Non Trump parties will probably guarantee a Democratically controlled Congress, Presidency and Supreme Court for decades to come.

The RINOs are now a minority of Trump supporters. They need to be forced to submit to the majority or join the Dems. That will encourage the independents and Trumpocrats to embrace the new political realignment. We need a broad agenda of reform and basic good government, that others will join with us. We need to push for this agenda in the state legislatures, including election reform, term limits etc. The way to bypass the swamp is to demand a constitutional convention and do this by amendments. Either the Republican Party decides to lead the parade, or it disappears like the Whigs. Otherwise we could descend to civil war.

Our real power comes from the THREAT of a third party.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!

And if I were to put the absolute BEST NAME for a potential party to serve as a real warning to the RINOS et al?...

... The TRADITIONAL REPUBLICAN PARTY!

The name sums it up. All we want is where we, and our Fine Country and Remarkable Traditions and Unparalleled Freedoms and Beautiful Culture were a generation ago.

The name explains that the RINOs are the ones who strayed, not us.

And the name explains that WE are not the radicals, we are the ones who stay the good and proper course.

It COULD be done. It HAS been done. But the current parties have reconstructed our rules to block it.

Perot didn’t peal voters from Bush, Bush didn’t deserve the votes he got.

It’s not about the presidency. That’s not the part of the structure that matters. The state legislatures, they’re what matters. Get multiple voices in the legislatures you can end gerrymandering. Deal with THAT you can get voices in Congress. That’s the part of the structure that matters.

It is completely doable for a third party to appear and very quickly capture a significant number of Congressional seats, not just five or ten. And with the utter disgust and hatred that the 75+ million Trump voters have for the GOPee right now, that outcome is not just possible, but very likely.

The bigger problem is that brazen electoral fraud that is now endemic throughout the electoral system has made it impossible for any legitimate election to ever happen again. The now-defunct USA is so over!

Agree totally. State’s Rights. The real power of the Constitution of the United STATES of America.

Was there— and perot most certainly skewed the election with whomever he peeled off. Perot being mostly a dem Fascist himself in all truth.

A Trump MAGA would instantly dwarf the GOP. The fact you can’t see that means you are political tone deaf quite dumb.
