Trump is staying with the GOP.

For now. Even if it had been Trump’s plan to stay with the Republican Party, he may be reconsidering after Mitch McConnell stood in the well of the Senate and ripped Trump apart immediately after the acquittal vote. McConnell is even lower than I had thought.

If Trump is truly intending to stay with the GOPee, then I am done with Trump. I don’t know how to make this any clearer. Trump told us time and again during his term as president to vote for every sort of GOPee scumbag, shill, crook, craven coward and quisling traitor, all for the sake of “party unity.” In the end, the entire party stuck a shiv in Trump and took the biggest schitt in political history on all 75+ million Trump voters. I will never again vote for any stooge or tool that remains with the irredeemable GOPee. Eff the GOPee! GOPee Delenda Est.

“Conservatives understandably don’t want a new conservative party because it would divide the current Republican party.

But why don’t patriots sign up with Trump’s party if he starts one and minority GOP elite can keep what’s left of RINO Party, but still only two major parties, new Trump Party and desperate Democrats?

What am I overlooking?”

You’re not. The Dems are so far Left that their base is now, maybe, 25% of the country, and they know it. The Republican base, now Trump’s base, is 40%. The other 35% don’t even know what color their car is.

The reason the Democrats have remained competitive is because of how much a large segment of the population, who are in the middle, simply hates the Republican Party (most of that due to the media coverage of the Republicans, rather than Republican positions, which they generally agree with, whether they’ll admit it or not).

So...can the media tar-and-feather Trump’s new party sufficiently to keep the above people from moving out of the Democrat camp, to the new party? Answer - they just may be able to do that, sadly.

That’s funny, because I was just reading an AP story at WGN TV(Chicago) that headlined ‘Trump hopes to reassert himself after second impeachment acquittal’. https://wgntv.com/news/trump-hopes-to-reassert-himself-after-second-impeachment-acquittal/

If the GOP wants Trump in charge, he wouldn’t have to ‘reassert’ himself.

I quit on January 7. If I ever live in a jurisdiction where voting in a primary would make a difference, I can re-register.

The party will just split the conservatives. Divide and conquer. All hail the Dems.

A month or so ago it was reported that here in AZ that over 5 thousand quit the GOP. I would not doubt that the number is now in the tens of thousands.

I am eagerly waiting to see how far their begging campaign for contributions gets tanked.

The Republican party is a huge machine down to your vote for your local dogcatcher.

We continue to identify, isolate and primary the RINOs within the party.......

This is OUR party! The party of Lincoln! Why should we run away because of a handful of RINOs regardless if they are elected, large donors, or consultants.....

Let’s finish the job and drive them into obscurity!!!

They can then form their own little party or fold into the democratic party where they belong anyways....

Oh....and take the damn Chamber of Commerce with them!

The GOP would get a message if the numbers leaving were anything like the numbers who stopped watching FoxNews. It would not change the leadership, which is hopeless, however.

No that’s not going to happen. What’s REALLY going to happen is this:
jack $#%^

The GOP will NOT be re-created, it will NOT be purged, and nobody REAL will take it over.

The parties exist for the parties. They have no loyalty outside their party, and will NOT be changed.

The method is all the way up from party Precinct Committe(men) of which there are 100K plus US wide for Trump and 200K plus currently vacant and 100k or so “other repub” ie. RINO.

The process is a military campaign in structure— remove the RINOS. Primary them, replace them with effective and backed candidates. Weed out the fakirs in the process, who have, in the past “run to the old TEA” and then flipped.

The GOP wants to rope Trump into staying in the GOP...

Mitch McConnell sure got that off to a great start.

I think the third party will be the “not voting” party.

As in “Screw it, I ain’t voting no more” party.

"Maybe you are overlooking the fact that Trump is staying with the GOP."

I haven’t heard Trump mention anything for awhile.
