Had I been a little brighter, I would’ve recognized immediately upon tasting what nc denizens call “barbecue”... but, I made the mistake of sticking around a while longer. The people in north carolina falsely praise themselves as being polite, genteel southern people. The truth is that they are no different from any “yankee” I ever met from “new yawk” or “new jewsey”. If you think nc is bad, go up into virginia.
