Once programmed pleasant stories...Now gay, queer stuff.
Don’t tune in. They will rot on the vine.
prediction...they will lose viewership....I know a lot of people that have the channel running all day in the back ground. the reason for this is that there is nothing controversial shown on the channel. mostly family and romances. saying that it is LGBT and other pronouns comes with the baggage of sexualizing the content. I have my doubts to there ability to do a family or romance story with out overt sexualization when they say LGBT. a good potion of those using there service will leave the moment the story’s become overt sexually.
But, but, but — what about all the other genders? Is Hallmark gender phobic? /s

AFAB
Acronym meaning “assigned female at birth.”
Agender
Someone who doesn’t identify with the idea or experience of having a gender.
Aliagender
A nonbinary gender identity that doesn’t fit into existing gender schemas or constructs.
AMAB
Acronym meaning “assigned male at birth.”
Androgyne
Someone who has a gender presentation or identity that’s gender neutral, androgynous, or has both masculine and feminine characteristics.
Aporagender
Both an umbrella term and nonbinary gender identity that describes the experience of having a specific gender that’s different from male, female, or any combination of the two.
Bigender
This term describes someone who identifies with two distinct genders.
Bigender indicates the number of gender identities someone has.
It doesn’t indicate which genders someone identifies with or the level of identification they have with a particular gender (such as 50% male, 50% demigirl).
Binarism
Generally, binarism refers to the gender systems and schemas that are based on the existence of two opposing parts, such as male/female, man/woman, or masculine/feminine.
More specifically, binarism is a type of sexism that erases ethnic or culture-specific nonbinary gender roles and identities.
Body dysphoria
Body dysphoria is different from body dysphoric disorder.
It refers to a specific type of gender dysphoria that manifests as distress or discomfort with aspects of the body.
This may include anatomy, shape, size, chromosomes, secondary sex characteristics, or internal reproductive structures.
Boi
A term, primarily used in LGBTQIA+ communities, that typically describes someone who has a presentation, sexuality, or gender that’s considered “boyish.”
Butch
Primarily used in LGBTQIA+ communities, this term typically describes someone with a presentation, sexuality, or gender that’s considered masculine.
Butch doesn’t necessarily indicate the other terms that someone might use to describe their presentation, sexuality, or gender.
Cisgender
A term used to describe people who exclusively identify with their sex or gender assigned at birth.
Cisnormativity
The assumption that a person identifies with the sex or gender they were assigned at birth, or that having a cisgender gender identity is the norm.
Cissexism
A form of oppression that discriminates against those who aren’t cisgender.
Demiboy
This nonbinary gender identity describes someone who partially identifies as a boy, man, or masculine.
The term demiboy tells us about someone’s gender identity, but doesn’t convey any information about the sex or gender assigned to someone at birth.
A demiboy can identify as cisgender or trans.
Demigender
This umbrella term typically includes nonbinary gender identities and uses the prefix “demi-” to indicate the experience of having a partial identification or connection to a particular gender.
This may include:
demigirl
demiboy
demienby
demitrans
Demigirl
This nonbinary gender identity describes someone who partially identifies as a girl, woman, womxn, or feminine.
The term demigirl tells us about someone’s gender identity, but doesn’t convey any information about the sex or gender assigned to someone at birth.
A demigirl can also identify as cisgender or trans.
Dyadic
This describes people who have sex characteristics — such as chromosomes, hormones, internal organs, or anatomy — that can be easily categorized into the binary sex framework of male or female.
Dyadic conveys information about someone’s sex characteristics but doesn’t indicate anything about their gender.
I’d be surprised if there is a large gay audience for the relatively bland G-rated Hallmark movies. (Other Hallmark products, like greeting cards, wrapping paper, and home decor, sure, those make sense as a gay thing, and maybe concern over sales in that area carries over to this.)
As for women, they like their gay friends, but these movies always seemed like insert-yourself-into-the-fantasy things similar to crappy female-oriented fiction. Girl meets handsome guy. One or both gives up the busy, self-absorbed city life for small town, family-oriented life. They live happily ever after. See you next movie. Do they really want to see gay men as the main characters? Can’t put yourself into the story with that one.
But who knows.
As one who have never watched anything on their network am I safe in assuming all white women are dating black men and now all white men will be dating black men? And all the single moms have a racially ambiguous child? Maybe throw in a random Asian just for fun, doctor or real estate agent?
Not “awfully queer,” F**kin queer!
Sickening portrayals of queer life made to appear normal and everyday life in the USA.
NOT SO, but it is Hallmark’s agenda.
Don’t buy their expensive cards, it only encourages them!
Why don’t these queers and weirdos have their own channel instead of ruining an existing pleasantly family channel?
It may be who they are, but it sure as heck isn’t/wasn’t who their viewers are. May they do several swishes around the bowel before going down the drain....kinda like Faux News.
I sometimes watch Hallmark romances to escape from the news and politics. But now I will have to escape from Hallmark.
The do. It’s called LOGO. Yeah,lesbian...gay.
Mostly they just play some favorite old TV shows, though!
Oh they are going to go broke now. What a shame.
I do enjoy the Hallmark Channel. When they play movies with questionable story lines, I don’t watch. Be interesting to see how viewership drops off.
Welp, so much those movies.
My wife used to watch them. This year she saw one that was based around fags and turned it off.
I really think a lot of folks will stop watching them.
E-harmony now does queer couples. Geez.
Then why don't they write scripts for queers and faggots and perform them on LOGO instead of destroying an otherwise family channel? They just won't stop, will they. They've already destroyed the Boy and Girl Scouts, trashed probably half of the tv commercials with homosexual actors, forced their way into tv and movie scripts, etc.
when corporations bring in the diversity and inclusion nonsense the wokeness happens.
So, the successful movies have sympathetic romantic options. Heterosexuals would only really be interested for ideological reasons, regardless of their acceptance of gay folks generally.
The irony of all these entertainment companies trying to show how woke they are is that, back in the supposedly repressive 1950s, one of the most popular TV entertainers was Liberace. Everybody knew he was gay. And before that, you had Uncle Miltie dressing up like a woman, which people thought was hysterical.
So there were plenty of references to cross dressing and homosexuality back in the day, but you weren’t being instructed on what to think or feel about it.
I’ll never buy into the idea that the average person ever hated gays and lesbians. Sure, they might make fun of them mostly bonding their back, but people still do, and always will. Shoving this stuff in our faces doesn’t change anything.
They figure: Where else is our audience going to turn? We have a captive audience. We can increase our market share by poking most of our viewers in the eye. What can they do? It’s like Fox turning left.
Turn them off.
