A group of more than 100 former Republican officials have discussed the possibility of forming a "center right" party due to their unhappiness with the direction of the GOP under former President Donald Trump and the likelihood he'll be acquitted at the end of his second impeachment trial, according to Republicans who participated in the conversation.
Former Republican House Rep. Charlie Dent confirmed to CNN that he and about 120 Republicans held a conversation last Friday about whether to form a new party or a new faction within the Republican Party that would operate independently from the GOP.

nobody gives a damn what 121 nobodies did last week.
Right answer! I’m promised I would not purge them if they did not purge us. They are planning to #WalkAway. Perfect.
RINOS trying to split the Republican vote and give a perpetual advantage to the Marxists.

No. Next case...
Give that man a cigar!
They still don’t get it.
The ‘center’ has been pulled so far ‘left’ that a ‘center-right’ would still look like a leftard party...............
If Charlie Dent is involved - it’s bound to fail! Loser!
Do it and take Romitt with you.
Call it the Perpetual Minority Party where you serve no other purpose but to be shoved around by the RUTHLESS Democrat Party.
Your IDEAS don’t matter.
Your VOTES don’t matter.
You never get anything done for your constituents.
The BetaMax of politics.

There’s absolutely no reason to do this unless they simply wish to be in the pockets of a narrow group of corporate interests. They could simply join the Dems or the Libertarians.
We already have a huge center-Right party...and many of Trump’s policies form the foundation of it.
Dent was a Swamp Rat.
A self-proclaimed centrist is just someone who deeply believes they are always right (as in correct).
” pulled so far ‘left’ that a ‘center-right’ would still look like a leftard party “
I would have gone with so far “left” that they still would look like Bernie Sanders Mitten Knitters.
Blessings
I a nutshell a party is a collection of people who have shared interests and values and come together to form a platform that candidates who represent them will run on and pursue. The GOP, on the other hand, is a collection of people who hate each other, with a platform that their elected officials intentionally ignore and pursue other objectives entirely opposite of it.
It should die so that something good can begin, that corrupted parasite party is worthless.
