The video recorders in that LA bus should certainly provide closeups of both several of the perps as well as their vehicle and its license plate.

Exactly. There is 0% chance that the cops do not know the vehicle’s plate number.
These animals just need to be put down. You will never change them or rehab them. Find them and end them so no one else will be their victims.
The car didn’t have a license plates. Article says the car just had Keyes dealership plate (cardboard insert).
The attack is a new way to celebrate buying a new car.

If they are not going to be helpful 2 or 3 squad cars blocking the entrance and exits to their parking lot will drive their business to zero for as long as they stay. The cops can make them be helpful if they have the will.

My ex, who is in the business in California, pointed out that the perps could have simply stolen the plate and surround off another car.
Regardless, I’d try your special parking technique...
Perps didn’t just buy a car, they pulled the plates off and replaced them with cardboard because they were planning this and didn’t want to get tracked down.

On Feb 4 the victims were shopping in the DTLA area of 7th & Hill with their 2 yr old son when they were robbed. The male victim was pistol whipped & shot in the arm.
Suspect vehicle is a gray Chrysler 300 with “KEYES” paper plates.

“Reginald Oliver Denny (born 1953) is a White former construction truck driver who was pulled from his truck and severely beaten during the 1992 Los Angeles riots by a group of Black men who came to be known as the “L.A. Four”. The attack was captured on video by a news helicopter, and broadcast live on U.S. national television.
Four other Black L.A. residents who had been witnessing the attack on live television came to Denny’s aid, placing him back in his truck, in which one of the rescuers drove him to the hospital.
Denny suffered a fractured skull and impairment of his speech and ability to walk, for which he underwent years of rehabilitative therapy.
After unsuccessfully suing the City of Los Angeles, Denny moved to Arizona, where he worked as an independent boat mechanic and has mostly avoided media contact.”
