With his impeachment trial set to begin this week, a narrow majority of Americans say they support the Senate convicting former President Donald Trump and barring him from holding federal office again, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday.

Convicting him of what, exactly? Has anyone identified a crime that Trump committed? And if he committed a crime, why isn’t it being pursued through the normal channels of the justice system?
The Senate charade is no different than the Stalin show trials. It is meant to cement control of the government by the Socialists and to remove anyone who is a threat to their power.
How long before they decide to overturn the Constitution because it places too many constraints on their absolute power?
