Fox News cancels Lou Dobbs’ show and is expected to part ways with the pro-Trump host

Fox News has canceled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” the program hosted by television’s staunchest supporter of Donald Trump and of his assertions of voter fraud in the 2020 election, The Times has learned.

Dobbs’ program, which airs twice nightly at 5 and 7 p.m. Eastern on the Fox Business Network, will have its final airing Friday, according to a Fox News representative who confirmed the cancellation. Starting next week, the program will be called “Fox Business Tonight,” with rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman, who filled in for Dobbs on Friday.

FOX is history for me.

With CABLE ratings no longer matter. The content on cable is for the most part owned by a very small group. They require cable services buy “packages” of shows which explains with 500 channels there are only a few shows worth watching.

If you have cable service your dollars are going towards supporting channels you don’t like or watch. Since they have a steady money stream ratings have less meaning today then back when commercials were their only income.

I cancelled my cable so they wouldn’t get any $ from me anymore but I can stream free TV so sometimes watch. I might be imaging things but seems like Tucker, Hannity and Laura seem really stressed lately.

No way Jose, Hannity is a characteur of himself, tik tok boom; Dobbs is an effective communicator who presents things clearly and concisely, without all the Hannity BS. Dobbs is an affront to the powers that be at FOX.
