My guess is that we have already reached the point where most people who are ancient and want the vaccine have received at least the first dose. (At a senior living place near me, the residents have already received both doses, I believe.) Something like 8% of the population has received a first shot. I think that deaths are already declining and that this trend will rapidly accelerate in the coming weeks. (Don’t misunderstand - I have no intention of getting mRNA vaccine myself but that is a different issue from whether we can expect it to drive down the number of elderly deaths, which of course are most of the deaths.)

open up and get back to life... I cannot believe it’s been a year. A family member is in assisted living and her daughters cant come in to see her.. for a year!!! what in the world has happened to those in charge...they have lost their minds..

Step 1 has already been accepted . . masks. Now they will need to enforce, by law, we have to wear them. For how long? maybe forever. Next vaccinations, again probably by law, before you can leave your house.

I already constantly see discarded masks in parking lots and alongside curbs. Those and used plastic dental flossers make me sick.
I wonder what new government department will be formed to administer it.
It is not if a new department will be formed, that is a given, but just how large will it get. The funding will be out of this world and its range will grow over and over.
Another over reach, be assured.
Mailing of masks will include a stack of official ballots for 2022 and 2024.
These can be mailed in advance because names, and party affiliation other than “D”, don’t matter.
