USA Today sports columnist Nancy Armour recently claimed that NFL star Tom Brady gets away with his mild support of President Trump because he is white.
Left-wing sports writers have been trying to cancel Brady since the day a Donald Trump campaign hat was seen in his locker five years ago. The six-time Super Bowl winner also noted several times that he is friends with Trump. Still, Brady was never highly motivated by politics, and unlike other NFL players, he has never made loud political proclamations a central point of his public persona.

To a certain extent. But then individual players, especially the quarterback, for the most part have to account for themselves. A great team can have bad players who are usually let go. Equally a bad team can have very good players, who are kept even as the bad players are let go.
Through a message released via Twitter on Friday afternoon, Krzyzewski said America had chosen the "easier wrong" for 400 years and denied the impact of racism.
"We see that," Krzyzewski said in the video. "And what do we do when we see it? We turn the other way. We don't solve the problem. The problem will not be solved and no problem is solved unless you acknowledge the problem. Acknowledge it. If you acknowledge it, you have the duty to solve it. We as a country have the duty to solve this problem."
Krzyzewski had previously released a statement expressing his anger and frustration after George Floyd was killed when a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for nearly eight minutes.
"Black lives matter. Say it. Can you say it? Black lives matter," Krzyzewski said at the start of the video. "We should be saying it every day. It's not political. This is not a political statement. It's a human rights statement. It's a fairness statement."
"Do we not see the problem?" Krzyzewski asked. "The disease, the plague that has been with our country for four centuries. Do we not see systemic racism and social injustice? C'mon. We all see it. It's manifested in so many ways: criminal justice, the killings that we have seen and that we haven't seen, the denial of economic opportunities for our Black community, educational opportunities, health care. It's manifested in so many ways and has been for four centuries."
Coach K has to look to the right to see Biden.

I find it disgusting that the sports media is going out of its way to bring attention to the political leanings of stars like Brady and others when they should just stick to sports..........

Can you imagine if a black NBA player came out as a Trump supporter after the George Floyd protests? The team would demand that he be released and no team would sign him. Unlike Kap, it would not be because he is not good enough

Coach K is coddling his players with the BLM crap. Still wants his job. I say this as a UNC fan, Coach K is a Republican, former Army player under Bobby Knight and was very critical of Obama on a few issues, filling out hoops brackets being the least of them. His conservatism was part of the rivalry with Dean Smith who was very active in Democrat politics in NC.
For every 1 White athlete that’s allegedly gotten a pass because they’re White , there have been at least A THOUSAND black ones . The only White ones that get this pass are LEFTIST ones. Brady is the exception, and leftists know it!!!!!
