I grew up in rural Iowa and my small town high school had a marksmanship club. We all brought our rifles to school for after school practice. No one gave it a second thought. It was as normal as skipping school for the first day of deer season.

“Shall not be infringed”. Why is this so hard to understand?

I double dog dare them to pass it. They have no intention of doing that. This is simply red meat tossed at their rabid leftist supporters. To pass this is to put civil war on the fast lane. There would be rivers of blood.

I posted this yesterday on another post about this but these are the facts:

If it passes it’ll never be enforced because you can’t.

There’s an estimated 434 - 600 million firearms in civilian possession and around 25 trillion rounds of ammo spread out between about 75 million gun owners. FYI about 20 million arms are the AR-15 variant.

Good luck trying to enforce that and then we get into the 3% that may get really pissed and fight back if they do.. that’s about ~2.25 million people.

Instead of subjecting gun owners to such Draconian requirements, maybe it’s time to require psychological evaluations of each member of Congress.

Heavily supervised and scrutinized drug and tox screening would do the job.

Well...if you took this idea to reality...there are two groups I’d be curious about.

1. Military personnel requiring the psych eval to operate weapons for war-time situations. You could end up with 20-percent of US Marines, or Special Ops people failing the eval...then what? No weapon?

2. Police requiring the psych eval? I’d take a guess on the eval being tough enough that maybe 20-percent of them would not be allowed a weapon.

Then you could ask the question of the Capital Police or Secret Service....would you psych eval them as well, and not allow weapons if they failed the yearly eval?

Stacy Washington spent 2 hrs last night on Breitbart Patriot channel talking about this. It was excellent and in great detail.

First they tell us we can’t suspect what we suspect.

Then they tell us we can’t question what we want to question.

Then they call us “domestic terrorists” for doing either.

Now they’re making sure we can’t do anything about it.

Yeah, pretty much the same thing as Nazi Germany, Italy, Russia, China, North Korea, . . .

We need one of our guys to show some guts and attach a requirement to this bill that all politicians who are elected receive a psych evaluation and are piss tested for drugs once a month while they are in office.

When I was 13 , my brother and a friend of mine used to walk across town through neighborhoods carrying .22 rifles to attend our gun safety classes. And that was through a suburb of Los Angeles.

Talk about needing a physchological evauation. Sheila Jackson Lee needs one every time she opens her mouth.

A great example of one of the looniest democRATS in Congress.

I sometimes wake up from a nightmare, wondering how ignorant wackos like Lee ever got elected to leadership roles in this country.

She sure has somebody fooled into voting for her.

And I've read, she really thinks her sh*t doesn't stink. Heaven help this country.

To me the neighborhood watch groups are nothing more than leftists getting together to find out which homes in their area do have guns in their homes.

We all know when someone is supposed to be in our neighborhood or not. We all have enough sense and don't need a watch group.

It is not possible for American civilians to be hoarding 25 trillion rounds of ammo. Given that current civilian production capacity is slightly over 9 billion rounds per year that means only a bit over 2 trillion rounds could have been produced in the entire history of this country, even at the historically high current capability.

25 billion rounds is a definite possibility, 25 trillion is impossible.

And exactly who on the Dem side is going to vote against this legislation? Answer: no one. So, it will make it to the Senate. Then...who’s going vote against it? We’ll find out. Elections have consequences.

Even if this bill doesn’t make it through, it will serve its purpose to set the bar very high, so when they lower it a notch or two, that will all of the sudden seem reasonable, and THAT gun control law will pass. People always squawk about how crazy some of the Dem ideas and proposed legislation are without fully realizing they are conditioning the audience; they know it won’t pass, that’s not the point. The point is to soften the appearance of the intended legislation.
