This is stupid on so many levels
Every employment opportunity has to have some economic justification, a justification that is paid for by some interested party. The interested party, in turn, has to have some motivation to be spending the resources to undertake the enterprise.
Normally, this is in expectation of a return on the investment, that shall profit the motivated interested party. Eventually, if there is no expectation of profit, the enterprise is abandoned.
Simple as that. Everything else, is a dead end. That is when involuntary servitude, under threat of punishment, is applied, and that way lies despotism and a form of command-and-control administration. Think slavery and compulsory service, neither of which is any form of participatory government.
Governing without the consent of the governed is a recipe for revolution and anarchy. People will take only so much of being pushed around, sometimes quite roughly, before they come to the conclusion they have nothing to lose. It is in this last desperate situation that the peasants storm the palace gates, and raise bloody hell on their oppressors.
This might be why Washington, DC has so many National Guard troops placed about the city. But who says the National Guard can be relied upon by the ruling regime?

I think that is precisely the case. Just as she doesn't think parents should send their children to Electoral College.
How do you think she got into power? She whored for power. A hooker whores for dollars. Same act. Same whores. Different objective.

A thought or two on that. She purportedly got her big break in politics on her back. (I can’t imagine what a terrible man the mayor must have been to both give away an office for sex and then brag about it when his hooker had made it big.) And, politics has a lot in common with hooking. You stand on street corners trying to look attractive and you’ll do practically anything to get what you desire.
And to think she’s one step away from being President.

My whole IT career and business died as well. For me it began with Lyn’ Ted’s friend Carly Forina, then all of the H1B. Today you can send a thousand resumes out and get lip service from Indian recruiters, but no interviews, and no jobs. I broke $100 per hour as a consultant in 1999 and now couldn’t get a related job for $25 per hour.
