President Trump To Make A Major Political Comeback
Oann ^ | Jan 29, 2021 | OAN Newsroom

According to reports, President Trump is working with top GOP officials to make a return to the political arena. In an interview Thursday, long-time Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski said the President is actively recruiting candidates for the 2022 elections with plans to hold Democrats and some Republicans accountable.

Lewandowski went on to confirm President Trump has access to hundreds of millions of dollars raised during his campaign last year and he intends to use that money to pull control of government away from Democrats. Allies of Joe Biden are reportedly concerned considering a number of top Trump officials have held on to their positions and may assist the upcoming red wave.

His comments came as President Trump was meeting with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in South Florida. According to Save America, the President’s leadership PAC, the two discussed the GOP’s efforts to retake control of the House in 2022.

“Republicans are always focused on putting the people first before politics and we will continue to do that work,” stated McCarthy. “In this next Congress, we might not be able to schedule the floor, but we are going to run the floor.”

The GOP “house” is like a decrepit old structure that is riddled with dry rot, termites, decaying pipes and wires, and a leaking roof. You can’t rebuild something like that. Its time to condemn it and build something strong and attractive.

Trump is in the building business. He creates new things that are better than the old. That’s what he should do IMO.

Build it and they will come. Bigly.

I don’t think Trumps going to go with a new party. As attractive as it is for us to consider I just don’t get the fib Trumps going that direction.

Building ‘a new party’ involves a whole lot more than a ground game and rallies. And you’re still going up against the GOP and the Dems....slicing up the voter base, which it would surely do, as that in itself is ‘wired’ to a two party system.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is the swamp. Trump should not be working with him, he’s a back stabber and big fan of back stabbing Liz Cheney.

Trump can be a good back stabber too. Just ask Mike Pence who had to take one for the team all because of a very poor legal opinion that incorrectly suggested Pence could send back electoral college votes to the states. And, let’s not forget Trump was the one who said he would walk with the protesters down to the Capital building on January 6, 2021 and he ended up going back to the White House. I think politicians of all stripes, including Trump, are back stabbers at one point or another in the game. I think it is part of the political game.

My theory is that if a new party was formed it would energize and attract voters like (as Trump would say) you’ve never seen before. There is a nationwide hunger for a genuine party that stands for something and is willing to fight for it. I really believe that.

If that happens I think the GOP would collapse. The only reason anyone votes for them is because they are not Democrats. That’s it. If there was a good alternative the GOP will rapidly implode, thereby putting us right back into a two party system.

The GOP has resisted all efforts to reform it for decades and they’re not going to roll over for Trump or anyone else. We’re just fooling ourselves if we think the GOP will embrace reform.

I don’t believe in supporting things that continuously fail at what they are supposed to do. If the GOP was a company it would have declared bankruptcy long ago since no one would buy their defective and unreliable products.

I honestly don’t know anyone who would stick with the GOP if someone like Trump created a competing party. Its time to look and act outside the GOP box we’re in.

The voters need to FEEL the PAIN in their WALLETS and in their FREEDOMS brought on by the figurehead Biden and his supporting cast.
+++++
No doubt.
But that will take zero effort by Trump and his supporters. The Biden Team will handle that task with great efficiency.

It is fun to watch the media flail without Trump.

Let them eat themselves. Trump doesn’t have to lift a finger.

Mike Pence is a coward and now 75 million GOP voters hate his guts.

Like it or not Trumps public approach and style offended many even though they voted for him. Even his family understands this hurt Trump. They wanted him to be more “Presidential” and did not understand the nation needed a fighter.....a tough one.....and those people still would want him to tone things down a few notches. He would have to show his ‘leadership’ qualities in public as he did in meetings and with International leaders....up front.

You are incorrect. The vice President does not have that role whatsoever. You have bought into a horrible legal interpretation by a lawyer who should ought to have known better. Trump’s legal team did not do him and the 75 million people who voted for Trump any favors. And sadly, is going to take many many years to repair this damage.

I agree with your assessment. I voted for Trump and donated generously to him but at times wished he would have toned down the self-centered antics and struck a more presidential tone. Such mannerisms tended to turn people off, even those who supported his agenda and sympathized with with him in his battle against the entire DC Swamp.

He was entertaining and fun to watch but he also generated lots of resentment from people who didn’t like his combative style. I know a few of those people. There is no question in my mind that his outsized personality hurt him during the election. You simply can’t afford to alienate anyone when you’re in a tight race.

I tend to agree with you.

Something’s got to be up, because there are constant stories about problems and shenanigans in various states.

There’s currently a thread about it right now.

I don’t know what you’re implying, but my president, Donald Trump, doesn’t drink. And Melania would leave him if he ever fooled around.

I think he is probably VERY pissed off, as is a considerable number of Americans, and wants to do something.

Heck, I was chatting with a Canadian woman who said she doesn’t think that this is over. She pointed to Melania’s changes of clothing on the day they left D.C.

“She was wearing a dress with the ‘joker’ card on it! There is something going on here.”

I didn’t see the dress; too heartbroken to watch T.V.,but if true, it could become interesting. And it sounds like the clever sort of thing that the president would do.

It may have been the Secret Service who advised him not to join the crowd.

It was already mayhem; just imagine if he were there.

Mine will stay in a state of distress until things change. I love this country for what it was and can be again. Right now....it is not the land of the free

If Dominion has long term contracts, that could be a problem.

Just don't use them.

How do we stop Democrats from stealing elections?

Are we not fully agreed that we OUTNUMBER them?
