Dr. Anthony Fauci warned in a new interview that President Joe Biden’s push to reopen most schools within 100 days “may not happen” amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Among a flurry of executive orders, Biden has issued an order requiring the Departments of Education and Health and Human Services to provide federal guidance on reopening, “with the goal of getting a majority of K-8 schools safely open in 100 days.”
“The president is taking very seriously the issue … both from the student standpoint and from the teacher standpoint,” Fauci said during a virtual event sponsored by the American Federation of Teachers and National Education Association, according to Education Week.
“He really wants to and believes that the schools need to reopen in the next 100 days, essentially all the K to 8 schools, within 100 days. That’s the goal,” continued Fauci, 80, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the president’s chief medical adviser.
“That may not happen because there may be mitigating circumstances, but what he really wants to do is everything within his power to help get to that,” he added.
The top doc noted that there is “some light at the end of the tunnel” regarding the availability of effective COVID-19 vaccines and that reopening schools is a critical part of the White Houses’ response to controlling the pandemic.

My state is pretty much open. Has been since April, 2020. I’ve been to the grocery store every couple of days since the “plandemic” started. I don’t wear a mask. Not so much as a sniffle. Is there a reason to be afraid? Is there a virus? Dunno. I think the greatest threat is from the fascists like Fauci and the WHO who want to control us. Two masks? Three? Why not a full burka? Why not mind their own business? Wake up, people!
Just yesterday he was saying kids are safer at school. This dude has a different story every time he opens his mouth.

Our school district Hazleton is not going back until 4/12. Over a year no in service classes. The teachers are overpaid and our taxes should be refunded for this mess. They will not go back on 4/12 mark my word.

Our UNION teachers don’t want to go back. They don’t give a damn about the kids. Why have 2 months off every year when you can work part time 10 months of the year.
Around here, getting paid $80,000 for a zoom meeting once a day for 10 months is quite the deal. Let's say it's an hour class, that's $400 an hour. Even at 4 a day it's $100/hour in your PJ's, no wonder they don't want to actually work.

I’m beginning to think that the left is going to use this staying at home to attack home schooling by pointing out that the kids had teachers instructors yet their scores went down, indicating parents aren’t doing their job helping the kids at home.
In my school district in CA, small groups of K-12 students are being invited back, still doing remote learning on laptops but overseen by non-union substitutes. Pathetic!
Remote learning as provided by school districts is NOT homeschooling. I removed my senior from the district and he’s now homeschooled and thriving.
I wish I could post on the Facebook page but I don’t want to embarrass my daughter. One teacher wrote “ I don’t want to go back to a covid infested school” I was going to tell her then quit bitch. They should fire her ass.
