In April of this year, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that politicians can lie during political campaigns. In Susan B. Anthony List v. Driehaus, the Court ruled a politician’s right to lie during a campaign is protected under the free speech provision of the First Amendment.
[snip]Ditching the GOP is a bad idea born of justifiable frustration, and we need to stop being emotional and start being ruthless in our campaign to retake this country from these liberal establishment aspiring fascists. A third party is not the way. It is a bad idea, one that is technically impractical and which is strategically inept. It will lead to disaster. And the Democrats know it, which is why they love this third party palaver. The only thing that makes the tooting likes of Eric Swalwell coo in delight harder than some mediocre Chi Com honeypot is the thought of us conservatives committing ritual suicide by splitting our half of the country in two because some of the 50 percent of Americans in our camp are insufferable sissies.
[snip]You cannot divide the 50 percent of America on the right up and hope to beat the 50 percent on the left. It does not work, and all the hopes, dreams, and krakens of a million outraged conservatives on Twitter will not make it so. Politics must be about addition, and that implies we need to add people who are not as conservative as we are. If you want purity, date a nun. This is politics, and if you don’t win, you lose.
I propose we win.
Without a federal law to the contrary, this precedent essentially became law. Fact checking, in other words, is up to the voter, not the courts. If you think a politician is lying to you, then you are free not to vote for that politician.".
An enigmatic person running for elected office should, imho, never run for office.
So what happens when we vote for a Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, James Lankford, Ben Sasse, etc.? What do we get for our effort but kicked in the teeth?
Ask that question again an about two months of continual chuckie schumer in the media.
screw the GOP......time to start over with a new party, new name, no “old rich white guy” stigma.....the GOP pussies have allowed the party to be destroyed, and nothing can fix it
Keep voting for Democrats in R jerseys or Democrats in D jerseys might get elected......../s
Win what exactly? I like to win but I think we have already lost. Now, if would be republican candidate says the right things, I may vote for him. One of the things he’s going to have to say is that he will not rest until the federal government pays back every American every dime that was taken from them in Joe Biden’s gun confiscation scheme. I figure the federal government is going to ow me in the neighborhood of 25,000 dollars. I’m gonna want that back. Every dime. It isn’t going to be negotiable. If I get an excuse or a typical milquetoast GOP response, you will absolutely NOT get my vote. And the people that had their property destroyed? Guess what? They’re gonna need to be compensated too. The people who sold their firearms to the federal government for pennies on the dollar? They’re gonna need to be made whole too. These are my demands. I only speak for myself.
I WILL join the Patriot Party, Gee, I may be a founding member..
The Dems are working towards One Party Rule
All it takes is for idiots to stop voting for betrayal by the GOP.
There is no split vote if you don’t keep voting for Democrats in drag wearing R jerseys.
Since GOP has accepted the fraud, there seems little point in voting for them. What would be the point? In fact, since apparently whoever has the bigger xerox machine wins the election, what is the point of voting at all?
GOP ratified their irrelevance on Jan 6. They are done.
Anyone?
Anyone?
New party-long slog
Takeover Republican party-long slog
The difference is with a new party, there is a danger dems could get supermajority while new party builds. Is it worth that danger?
Th rhinos aka dem plants have spent our hard earned capital. Not for them a contest would have occurred and Trump would have been the victor. If we start a new party it;s fresh, we need fresh!
Hate to break this to you, Kurt, but the GOP was in on the steal, too. That, and they were willing to lose the two GA senate seats and control of the Senate for reasons only known to the RINOs. There is no fixing this party because the RINOs would have to give up power, and that ain't happening. A new party is not ideal, but it is ideal when there aren't any other options for fixing problems that have been around for decades.
EVERY Republican is dead to me until and unless they purge McConnell, Collins, and others too numerous to mention.

The Republicans have too, for 30 years they have been importing a permanent Democrat majority.
“Politics must be about addition, and that implies we need to add people who are not as conservative as we are. If you want purity, date a nun. This is politics, and if you don’t win, you lose.”
Think of it this way, we are going to make the GOP the third party!
I am tired of GOP lovers using this ridiculous argument. The GOP has squandered every chance they have had to implement conservative policies but they always chicken out. Well I am tired of it. I want a new party and until there is one I am finished with holding my nose to vote.
