That’s my point exactly...it doesn’t. The constitution does not subscribe this power to the vice president. Period.
The vice president does not have the power to certify nor de-certify electors.
The constitution explicitly gives this power to the states.
Freaking read the constitution and stop arguing a dumb @$$ point because you want it to be this way. It’s simply not.
